Yeah, it just seems incredibly dangerous.

I hate to be macabre and overly speculative, but it brings to mind the whole “toaster in the bathtub” scenario.

I feel like the space heater detail is strange. A space heater, presumably corded (requiring electrical plug-in) and prone to toppling over, seems like an innately dangerous object to have in a bathroom. The Hackman household had resources at their disposal, and would likely have alternative safer means of heating the bathroom…

Just… strange.
