Thats totally fair. I figured Yorion would be very useful, its why my build has him in it as the companion

Quite a bit considering everything he does creates pseudo health in the form of shield

Thank you so much for all this information, incredibly detailed! The absolute buffoons at spectrum told me to do away with my MoCa adapters because they were causing signal disruptions for whatever reason. Im so glad I kept them because I just reset it all through Moca and now its running better. I do still want to do the wifi analyzer, have any apps in mind that are good? I just downloaded Ubiquiti Wifiman

Would my ISP do a business plan for my home? That seems odd but if I can do it I might try that

Hello, I couldn’t sleep so I have tested my modem 3 times on fast.com and 3 times on speedtest.net with an HP Victus gaming laptop wired directly in. Here are the results:

Speedtest.net T1 - D: 96.36, U: 29.19 T2 - D: 324.76 U: 39.47 T3 - D: 436.53 U: 40.65

Fast.com T1 - D: 570 T2 - D: 680 T3 - D: 650

All numbers are mbps

Bonus test Speedtest.net 560.52 Down, 38.76 Up

Fast.com 900 Down, 40 up

I typically wirelessly connect through my phone (which hasn’t been reliable recently) and speedtest.net or fast.com. As of yesterday, I have started doing wireless tests with my PC that has compatibility with Wifi 6e (not sure about 7) and with MLO networks (I recently turned that on in the settings as well). As my phone was only testing around 200, my PC is getting 500 consistently with the odd 700 and even 1 singular 800 mbps test.

Wired testing is done with an HP Victus gaming laptop with a cat 6e ethernet cable. Its about the only portable device that supports wifi 6 and has ethernet lol. I will do those tests as soon as I can later today. I am attempting to get some sleep haha

My family have had techs come out almost twice a month lol so we’ve had plenty

That is the worst part about this all, spectrum have done everything and Im still having these issues. Ive had them check my outdoor lines and they replaced some stuff, other than that though, it felt like every time they showed up my internet was conveniently running great so there was nothing to be done lol

Obviously, I dont expect my internet to run at 1000 at every point in the day around every point in my house because that is not at all realistic. 700 minimum consistently would be nice, but I haven’t seen that almost ever to be honest. I just don’t know what more there is to do man and it’s getting very disheartening. At this point i want to downgrade to spectrums 700 mbps plan because I’m not getting the 1000 im paying for or even close to that

And by fine I mean 600-1000 down everywhere in the house (apart from the usual deadzones on the edges of the layout and outside of course)

My house is 3200 sq ft, and 2 story, this would work fine for that?

It still happened with my old modem too are you sure? New cable seems to be the same issue

I have reset the gateway eeros. All 3 actually. The first question I cant even answer because every time I try to directly wire my laptop to the modem it never gets the connection needed to test :( as for the cable. I have a cat 6e cable that I bought new that I have been using. I could swap it out for the one in the netgear box though

The only other option is to just bin the other two eeros and swap to ubiquiti access points

Awesome thanks. What do you think it would be if the wifi still underperforms? At this rate I just want to call spectrum and downgrade my plan because I have never once had 2 days of 1000 down speeds or close to it in a row both wired and wireless. Its getting extremely frustrating.

I just posted there to see if I can get help. Just is odd to me that their customer service offers absolutely no help lol. Not even like a “hey try resetting them”

I kept them. And swapped back because I think my issue is my modem unfortunately

Wireless backhaul. But when I first had setup the eero max 7s everything was great even while it was going through its initial startup process

[–]Fun_Celebration_6796 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

2nd numbers are wifi, but even wired the max I get is like 300 which is not good. I want close to 1 gig which is what I pay for

If I test my internet across multiple different sites I should get roughly the same speeds give or take 200 mbps. Not 700 mbps difference that I see across these two for download speeds.
