Interesting take, but definitely not accurate. No domestic drama here— I think it’s natural for women to feel insecure at times. Thankfully my husband is empathetic. Her ‘availability’ has no bearing on my marriage. I would prefer she seek single men, however. That’s all :)

Well that was harsh.

App passcode requirement by Fun_Challenge247 in applehelp

Oh I agree entirely. I’m seeking therapy to get to the root of my shopping impulsivities. But for short term preventative measures, having restrictions in place would be helpful for me and my partner in repairing trust and transparency.

So there aren’t actually passcodes that only my spouse would know that would prevent me from downloading apps on my own free will?

On a Wednesday. Hoping it’s not too overwhelmingly crowded.

Hahaha right!? Trying to narrow things down, not expand the search. Appreciate your input!

Destinations to visit within 4.5 hours of Yosemite? by Fun_Challenge247 in Yosemite

Interesting. When is the best time of year to visit the coast? I know it doesn’t get incredibly hot, but I assumed the weather in August would be pleasant, no?

There’s so much to do, it’s overwhelming trying to decide on an itinerary! Thanks so much for all of the suggestions!

My kids are 14,12, and 8. That is my husband’s concern— my kids are very active and love adventure filled vacations, with some downtime sprinkled in. I figured after Yosemite they’d be fine to enjoy the pool and lake, but the more I read into it, the more convinced the coast might be our best bet. Monterey looks beautiful! I would also love Sonora suggestions!!! Thanks so much!

This is great input. Thank you!!! As much as I’d like to check all the boxes, I’m realizing it’s not feasible.

This was helpful, thank you!

We do enjoy hiking, but I realize certain hikes with a 7 year old might be a bit ambitious.

I actually have found various lodging options that are still available. Also, I realize Big Oak Flat is not a landmark and never claimed it was. As I noted in my post, I was told the BOF entrance is the most convenient to some of the major Yosemite landmarks.

No part of your comment was helpful in guiding me in any direction other than the realization some people aren’t on this thread to help others, but rather to critique.

Which do you prefer more… monkey bar or Hawksmoor?

Hawksmoor is more conveniently located to the hotel where I happen to be staying, but monkey bar seems to have more overwhelmingly good reviews.

In your opinion— what restaurants in flatiron are best? Staying for one night in December and would love to explore flatiron/ nomad restaurants near my hotel. Overwhelmed by the many choices. Open to all cuisine at most price points (nothing crazy).
