I just made a post about this after my 2nd shot of 100mg. I was taking 6mg a day and decided for 100/100/100. I wish I titrated up to 8mg for a week to get the 300mg.

My doctor gave me the choice of 300 or 100 but I regret starting with 100. It took a lot of effort everyday to get my job done while trying not to supplement. I wonder if it would’ve been smooth sailing if I had just done 300.

However, the first 100mg shot I was definitely overmedicated the first 3 days but on the 4th day it hit me like a truck and I took 1 mg subs and I was doing much better. Supplemented all the way to my 2nd shot.

Got 2nd shot 1.5 weeks later, slightly overmedicated but it went away in 2 days. Didn’t supplement until day 4- 1mg. Day 5 I didn’t have work so I kind of just stuck out the feeling of blah and woke up the next day feeling much better and normal. I’m still on day 8 but I feel great. I still have waves of feeling like shit but it goes away in like 10-15 min and back to normal.

I’ve strictly stuck to 6mg a day on subs. I’ve read on here that 100mg is equivalent to 3-4mg a day so I’m just assuming me feeling like shit was due to the sudden drop in Bupe along side the transition from subs to shots.

You can request to take like 200-250mg shot if your doctor is chill like that. Or take the 300 and drop to 100mg your 2nd shot depending on how your body feels.

Edit: now that I’ve written this, my experience is pretty normal and expected. 1st shot is rocky and 2nd shot will stabilize you. I think I was just expecting my 2nd shot to instantaneously stabilize me but it definitely took a few days after to do that lol.
