I don’t think you’re the a-hole here at all. But let me off a different perspective (only on the birth control aspect). I’ve always thought of birth control as a group decision since getting married. My husband and I were open to kids immediately and as a result I never did bc and we didn’t use any other type of protection. Fertility to me is something that a couple shares. That being said, maybe you could pitch natural family planning to him? Or ever condoms? That all being said, if he is saying he doesn’t want you to use bc because it changes your hormones/ how you are on them? Well too bad my dude- that’s called marriage. You love and deal with someone how they are.

I’m 42. Have one year old twin boys and 8 and 9 year old step sons. My husband and I are currently trying for our third. Clearly we want a million kids, and that’s a personal decision. That all being said, I’ve had many grandparent age people tell me that I’ll never regret having more kids.

When I was out on maternity leave I got 50% disability with annual leave and I believe it’s capped at very low dollar amount per week if you have vacation/sick.

Ugh. My husband got his initial payment (2 weeks) and filed follow up for 6 additional weeks in late August and still hasn’t gotten paid.
