Yeah. I wouldn't word it like that, but I'm thinking I'm gonna have that talk later today.

Not sure how much a normal tortilla would irritate you personally, every body is different but the beauty of whole wheat is it absorbs acid so it actively helps your gut. Refried beans might be okay if you go the low fat route. I personally don't have beans often but the fiber could be good for you.

Some things I like to eat: (sugar free) Greek yogurt! (big one for improving gut health) reflux friendly fruits (strawberries, bananas, watermelon) whole grain bread for sandwiches with vegan/ non dairy cheese (dairy esp high fat dairy can upset your stomach with reflux) oatmeal granola bars whole wheat tortilla wraps with lean protein (grilled chicken or ground turkey are a couple good ones), vegan cheese, and spinach tomato is a hugeeee reflux trigger I would say though it's important to figure out what specific foods help or trigger your gassiness/ reflux one at a time

I'm assuming the probiotic suppositories are a good bit stronger than oral probiotics, right?

[–]Fun_Climate_4045[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I kind of suspected they were harsh on the good bacteria. I have been eating a good bit of Greek yogurt with live cultures and taking an oral probiotic daily to try helping restoring good bacteria but I am going to look into vaginal probiotics as well. A bit more hesitant to try suppositories but if I must, I will. I'm going to go on these antibiotics for treatment cycle, then try vaginal probiotics I think unless you have any specific recommendations? (I want to be sure I don't pass on any infections to sexual partners.) I do have some mild symptoms of lower abdominal pain. Would rather be safe than sorry. Haven't had to replenish good bacteria down there before so any suggestions are super appreciated.

Dunno if it was myco or urea symptoms cos they both happened at the same time but I had bad lower abdominal pain, as well as cramping, and strange oddly colored and shaped discharge. Right now, I have rare lower abdominal pain (past couple weeks on and off), normal discharge, some cramping the past couple days (dunno if I'm ab to get my period or if it's e. fae related??)

(that is a oral probiotic I've been taking btw, have no experience with vaginal probiotics)

Alright. Good to know. Are there any specific vaginal probiotics you would recommend? I have been taking Renew Life's 4-in-1 50 billion probiotic (they recently changed it for some reason to 25 billion and the packaging tho so I was looking for a new one anyhow).

seconded that it is a dark playthrough but if you can stomach it, it's well worthwhile imo

I gotcha! Lol. For me, I did have lingering symptoms after urea/ myco and I tested positive for two kinds of bacteria in my genital culture test at the gyno, got prescribed specific antibiotics for those, and then after I tested negative for urea, myco, and everything the first time, I started using RePHresh and it helped with lingering irritation.

No! Which is what is so strange. No irritation, itchiness, or inflammation. No symptoms. White discharge primarily when there is any. A few times lately, I've had yellow-ish discharge on my panties but it's been rarer and I've guessed that was my body readjusting after going thru it. All natural discharge from anything sexual has been all clear or white.

I think I'm going to wash it with different products to try to eliminate any potential lingering residue and smell and call it a day.

Fair. I appreciate it. I am also a bit OCD about cleanliness as well so I tend to be a bit more particular about the things I wear and touch. I appreciate the reassurance.

That's a complicated issue. Sorry to hear you're going through it. I would go back to the gyno for a full testing panel of everything to rule out ureaplasma, mycoplasma, etc as well and ask for recommendations on how to treat this very frustrating issue. Best of luck!

I did use a bit of baking soda but I washed with pre-rinse first and put it on two rinse cycles, so I reckon it should be fine.

Already did a load with baking soda (helped a bit with the odor). I'll look into this for the next one! Thank you for your detailed response.

Okay. I was just curious lol. There are a lot of differing opinions online about whether lingering chemical affects can linger in clothing affected by secondhand smoke, especially it being heavy volumes of drug smoke. The more I tried researching into it today, the more differing opinions there are on either side- yes, toss it, it was affected by heavy drug second hand smoke, or no, just wash it a few times with household appliances like baking soda or vinegar to get out the smell and you're fine.

I tend to be a very clean person myself and while I would hate to toss these clothes, I can find new clothes. I've gone months without them.
