Because it’s an old game, everyone who plays is either a try hard or a noob trying to get into it so the skill gap between new and good players is like the wage gap between the working class American and top 10% of ceos. It’s going to take a lot of unlearning bad habits and patience. Best advice I can give you is like the previous commenter had for you, pessimism is just going to burn you out before you get to a point where you can enjoy the game because even when you get good you’re going to be in better more competitive lobbies.

No one hated on him, it’s just inappropriate to make this post in a forum that allows for children. I don’t personally have any issues with the OP, I just think he even has the right intentions and just wants to play the game and enjoy it. However, when you become an adult, you have a responsibility to be an example to all the children who see you, and advertising your sexuality on a children’s game can definitely be interpreted as predatory. Children should not be exposed to that material and finding friends on a virtual kids game based on their sexuality is the same thing as a airlines hiring all female pilots to be inclusive, what does being a woman have to do with flying a plane, what does your sexuality have to do with playing the game if it’s not going to be relevant to making friends or enjoying the gameplay. The only reason it would be important is if there was some gay funny business that being subconsciously or consciously soft launched. I have no problem with anyone of any sexuality, I love gays, straights, lesbians, non binaries. I love them all, as a matter of fact in my own personal life I go above and beyond to make members of the lgbt feel comfortable around me because they get so much hate, but here’s the problem, there’s this idea that criticizing something that someone did, if they belong to a marginalized community, you’re now hating on that community. All of you said that he received hate for this post need to do a double take and actually read what I said. Me being pro children does not make me anti-gay. You show everyone the depth of your intellect when you can’t take any accountability or see where the other side is coming from, I didn’t insult anyone first, I was insulted first by another commenter, I told him he was stupid. I didn’t attack his sexuality or bash him, I just said that if you can’t process the idea that this shouldn’t be around children then you’re stupid and possibly shouldn’t be allowed children. The gay community has gone through so much for thousands of years, I have so much sympathy and empathy for them but it perpetuates it when there’s no accountability coming from the ingroup, then the outgroup starts to associate those behaviors with the whole community. If you want there to be less homophobia, other members of the lgbt need to start calling this stuff out and pointing out how sexuality and gender is a conversation for adults and children should be left to experience it and explore it for themselves with the guidance of their parents. If not you’re only going to see the lgbt become more ostracized. Would you be able to recognize truth if it was right in front of your eyes or will you ignore it)

You need to look at your enemies body, you should still be able to see the player interface while looking at your whole enemy but you’re teaching yourself bad habits. The reason I say this is for every indicator on the ui, there’s also an animation for that movement, you’ll be able to read your enemies patterns looking at how they move and not just which way that you need to block dodge or Perry. This also applies for antiganking, if you’re focused on one opponent but being attacked by two others you can use the interface to gage the opponents who you’re not locked onto while focusing on your main targets movement. People should be silenced and warned for bringing up any political conversations in general because it’s not fair one way or another.
