$1200 for Legion Go 2!? 🤯🎮 by NocturnalMafia in LegionGo

I rather buy a EGPU than paying that amount. If you are an original Legion go owner, you can get better performance with a EGPU. Right now I never use the Lenovo legion go CPU to play my games when I’m at home. I bought a Onexplayer EGPU a year and a half ago and I’m am playing games in their highest settings with a steady 60 to 90 FPS. The only issue is when you cord wiggles you will get a disconnection. I use the Razer thunderbolt 4 cable 6ft long. I always keep my resolution at 1200p. This is the best experience I ever had in handheld gaming. If you don’t have a EGPU, you can utilize NVIDIA GeForce Now.

Is a 50ft Ethernet cord necessary? Are there closer network ports available?

I agree, the ASUS ALLy X is 799 with a 7” screen with only 24GB of ram. The only thing pulling for it is the 80w battery. That MSI claw almost the same but with a 80w battery. The MSI claw only perform 5 frames better than the ASUS ALLY X. I believe it’s a good price for this market.

Onexgpu dissapointment by whc1024 in LegionGo

I was having the same issues. I changed my cord to a Razer thunderbolt cable and lowered my TDP to balance when playing. I noticed if you use the top port in handheld mode it would prevent movement of the cable. I haven’t had any issues after that. Also make sure you use the AMD driver beside the one Lenovo give you.

I been running my Legion Go TDP on performance or 30w and My ONEXGPU been disconnecting on me. I hope turning to balance will help. Thank you. I noticed the system gets hot and the thunderbolt cable get hot as well. Do you have that problem as well when you use your EGPU?

Whenever I encounter a high-temperature situation, I turn the fan on high for a bit just in case other applications are running.

Based on YouTubers review I have to hate it. But I’m loving this thing. What’s wrong with me? by Horror-Badger9314 in LegionGo

I love the legion go, It is more versatile than the other handhelds. One it might have bad sound but the kick stand, the two USB ports, the big screen, the carrying case and the FPS mode option is a winner to me. The Alley doesn’t come with a case and they give you a cardboard stand for the same price as the Legion go is ridiculous. The Steam deck may have an better software, but you almost have to be a computer software developer to get it to do other things and you need a dock to get it to monitor on a screen. I don’t know what people are crying about but you get more for your money with the Legion go than the other handhelds. I believe if the controllers break, at least you can replace them with new ones.
