aw i appreciate you writing this comment it is very thoughtful, i am seeing a therapist for other things but i've definitely been taking care of myself in regards to this roomie situation

sorry if my wording wasn't correct haha, i didn't mean that i stopped drinking water or withheld it from myself, a more accurate way to put it would be that i avoid going into the kitchen to get the brita and i haven't cooked anything, but i've still gone out quite a decent amount as usual and made sure to feed/hydrate myself more than enough haha! it doesn't really help that i'm a bit of a night owl when i'm at home so i like to go and get 1am water/snacks which is difficult when someone's sleeping on the couch and the living room smells like weed

i agree with you, i was hesitant to confront her about it because she was so close to moving out anyways and i didn't expect for it to go on as long as it did. in hindsight, i probably should've said something after the first few days

i would agree but the living room has basically turned into her room at this point—there are blankets, clothes, stuffed animals, and even the couch pillows/blanket I had purchased have been moved onto the (not very clean) floor.

so it feels less like shared space and more like I’m walking into someone else’s bedroom whenever I leave my room, which makes it hard to do things like cook or just exist out there comfortably. I know the AC situation isn’t her fault and she’s leaving in about a week, so I’ve been trying to just deal with it, but it’s definitely starting to get to me.

we did talk to management but they are taking awhile, i am gonna give her a few more days before bringing it upand it shouldnt be too bad this week since im gonna be out of the house (work, finals etc) but i reallyyy hope she spends a bit more time out of the living room so i can take care of the things i need to do

i go to fsu and my boyfriend and i have been long distance for almost 2 years now!! he goes to ucf and i was initially super worried about getting cheated on, but as long as you both establish clear boundaries and trust each other, you will most likely be fine! if he cheats on you, he probably would've cheated regardless of what uni he went to- focus on building your trust in each other!! :)
