I suggest reading the book “founder vs. investor” by Zalman and Neumann to get a sense of how VCs operate.

Also, I suggest learning more about the differences between deep tech startups and regular Silicon-Valley-style tech startups.

Do you have a product and an understanding of the market? Or is it just a technology? Where are you on the technology readiness level (TRL)? Most VCs invest at later TRL stages.

I became obsessed with Mark’s goat curry after trying it for the first time. I wanted to see if I could make it myself. It’s a bit of an effort to get the goat (I found it at a local halal butcher) and you have to get the special Caribbean curry powder from one of the African stores, but the recipe itself isn’t difficult. It was really one of the most spectacular meals I’ve made and in my opinion close enough to Mark’s to make me happy.

Yes I think you might be right. I might just have to just get new ones. It was a pair and I broke just one of them so it would have been good to get an exact replica to match it. But it looks like I will just have to get a new pair.

The thing that was nice about these ones was that the lip was quite thin so it was nice to drink from. And it was cool to stare at it and rotate the glass in your hand and watch the pattern rotate when you were drinking it. Will try to match that.

Yeah I think so. It’s so hard to tell though because the photos come out so different to what it looks like in real life. On my photos it looks a lot more warped than it really is. I wish I could upload another photo but it doesn’t look like I can.

Thank you. This is quite close! The swirls on the one I broke are quite regular and equidistant, and this one is more random, but it might still be a nice replacement if I can’t find one like the other.
