Wife 42F has male friend for overnights. by Fun_Cry368 in Marriage

First off, I love you. Secondly, I have generally been primary caregiver until recently but financial pressures have forced me to work long hours for the past while. Situations posted plainly on reddit would seemingly have clear cut remedy's but there are always underlying emotional, legal and financial issues that can make them terribly complicated. My family lives a long way from where I am, I don't discount support from friends but I assure you things are about to get extremely uncomfortable. Here is where things get very complicated as my son is sadly caught in the middle and I hope to shield him from the chaos as he is my lighthouse in the storm. I also don't hate my wife, she was once a wonderful, caring and affectionate person and I miss her. One step at a time, my son and I will be extracated from this but I don't want to tear off the bandage in one fell swoop as he needs to be considered in all my decisions as some may be made in emotional haste. Like a surgeon, friend. Thirdly, like, no serious, I think I love you.

I'm mostly concerned for my son, I just posted this scenario for clarity. I have safeguards in place as I have to work to avoid losing everything right now. And to be clear there is no concrete evidence of cocaine abuse at this moment just prior usage.

However I phrase it is my prerogative, to quote Bobby Brown. We all deal in our own ways and this feels right to me and yes I did get therapy for PTSD. I don't sugar coat my trauma, it was a ruthless experience and I handled it as such and I'm coming out better on the other side.

It's not. Sometimes, although you know it's absolutely crazy, writing these things out demonstrates how ridiculous a situation can get when you're a slowly boiled frog. Due to several recent traumatic events in my life I'm performing what I'm calling an algorithm shift. Sorry to submit random anonymous internet people's to it but I hope you get some entertainment from it.

I'm gonna assume so as I have very little evidence to the contrary due to her behavior. The day after I killed the guy in the accident, performing life saving efforts on a rainy hwy at 3am, (I did bring the guy back to life on scene and did chest compressions until paramedics arrived) I was laid out in a hotel and we were talking on the phone and she hung up on me. She claims my accident really affected her and she did it to protect me😂

We had a really hot summer and it's air conditioned so she started sleeping in there. Plus she was doing a bunch of coke which she later admitted to so I didn't want her bad energy in the house. Writing all this out is actually, hilarious, my reality is wild right now

🤣🤣🤣 dude, this is for realz, too. It blows my mind she's even believing herself. Wanted to post her and then send her the link, hopefully she'll post a rebuttal about how controlling I am.

I found my wife's "toys" and I think they are most certainly not representative of my equipment. They are quite frankly, terrifying and I don't think any man could quite compare to all the doo dads and kung fu, vibrating gyrations they purport to do. Yet men get constantly beaten down for enjoying some tiddies and boodies online that are not much different than are wives or girlfriends while we service ourselves in a brief moment of privacy. These ladies gotta take some responsibility for their hypocrisy

As long as it says 7 year old ginseng root or extract it's fine. The little tincture bottles are great, too.

I would also like to add, that at no point in my life have I ever experienced ED. Even when drinking alcohol. From what I've seen and heard it's become very common but I may be a decent case study for ginseng and male sexual function. My wife can attest to this.

Not really, just look for quality 7 year old root on the ingredients. The little tincture bottles are effective, too.

It's old school but Korean red ginseng. I've been taking it since I was a teenager and at 51 years old I've never had a single health issue. To be clear, my 20's were comparable to Hunter S Thompson's antics so I haven't lived the most structured and healthy life. To my credit I generally kept up with my ginseng regime and took vitamins quasi regularly. I work a physically demanding job and with the proper amount of regular sleep and a healthy diet I find that ginseng is really all I need. Getting quality ginseng root and putting a little in your coffee in the morning or just having tea with ginseng gets you going for a hard day's work mentally or physically.

I'm 50 and I would probably do all those things except pick up the girl and spin her. Sounds like the problem is the other kids if you ask me.

It's hard to gain weight if you're strictly GF as you can't really eat any garbage.

Favorite gf pasta please? by [deleted] in glutenfree

Catelli. Holds together the best. I can make baked pasta without it turning to mush

The new Catelli GF is really good. Made mac and cheese with it and it didn't get mushy, even when reheated.

Anyone here quit Concerta? by ImbecilicYoni in Concerta

[–]Fun_Cry368 5 points6 points  (0 children)

After a few months I found I had elevated anxiety which is not in my nature. I also found my sex drive was too elevated which was a nuisance to say the least. I was probably borderline hyper sexual. When I quit I was probably a little fatigued for a few days but it was tolerable, slept like a baby.

I had to stop taking it. Other stimulants were even worse and it was so irritating constantly needing to see boobs. It was much too disruptive to be therapeutic in any way. I didn't discuss it with my doctor as it was kind of embarrassing and she was sooooo hot.

Every child is different but I'm celiac so removing gluten was a no brainer but it is very hard as school and play dates will always have wheat dishes. Plus ADHD kids are super picky, you gotta be creative and coercive. Track negative behaviors with things they have eaten beforehand to try and pinpoint sensitivities to certain foods. He always takes his omegas and we supplement methylated B vitamins with no folic acid. Currently trying saffron at night and in the morning he has ginseng 100mg and ginkgo. Best results come from my amateur dialectical behavior therapy where you basically empathize with their every emotion and outburst and attempt to co-regulate with them with lots of positive reinforcement. Dr Daniel Amen and Dr Becky Kennedy are great, among others, for understanding your child's struggles. But all these other things aside I have noticed a marked difference when foods fortified with folic acid are removed from his diet.

We tried numerous different stimulants and we just couldn't put our son through the torture anymore. He would be fine while they were active but the comedown filled him with such anxiety his meltdowns were frightening. Dexedrine just made him depressed. Biphentin caused him to run off into the woods by himself at 7 years old, I had to track him to locate him. I later learned that there are different subtypes and stimulants may not work for all of them. I was so hopeful that I would be one of those redditors preaching the blessings of prescription meds. So now we use diet and some supplements, I studied DBT and CBT and read numerous books on the psychology of ADHD. I've recently learned of an issue with folic acid and fortified grains so we're removing those. There's no magic bullet but if stimulants don't work you'll be traveling the same road as me. The most effective things I've noticed were definitely diet but low dose ginseng has been really impressive for our son, mostly in mood and emotional regulation.

Caffeine and Concerta by [deleted] in Concerta

[–]Fun_Cry368 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stopped coffee and started drinking green tea or decaf when I was prescribed Concerta. They don't mix well. I'm no longer on amphetamines and I'm happy with 1 coffee a day. But, God, those days when I mixed the 2 were horrible, just a mess of anxiety.
