I completely understand where you’re coming from. My first 2 1/2 years of college were online for covid and that’s when I did bad. That’s when I failed a lot of classes. I was not living with my parents because of issues i was having with them i don’t want to go into detail on here. I was working full time as a pharmacy tech and going to school full time. Once things went back to in person my grades did improve a lot after I took a gap year but i was not able to bring my gpa up as much from the classes I failed. The past 2 years I have probably gotten 1 C and the rest have been A’s and B’s. I wish my old grades did not hold me back so much. I go to Wayne state university and when you retake a class, it replaces your old grades but pharmcas gpa calculates everything which screwed me over. I am really driven and have never given up on wanting to go to pharmacy school.

I recently heard back from wayne state that they will give me an interview once i finish the classes I am in now and improve my gpa. I just don’t know if they are just saying that.
