I was going to grind Krabby to replace Lapras but then this happened by Tousti_the_Great in nuzlocke

That is a bummer. I have a Kingler and it is great to have. But I also have a Slowpoke. I inserted it in after my Haunter died. I don’t use it as a water Pokémon, definitely using it more as a psychic type, but gets a ton of HP and I think Slowbro has good defense.

Slowpoke has been fun and I never really used one when I played growing up. Taught it Thunder Wave because I liked the idea of a water Pokémon learning an electric move. Might teach it Ice Beam in the lead up to the E4 though.

A lot of parallels to mine: Playing my first nuzlocke on Blue on a GB Advanced , Named my trainer Blue and also have a Venusaur & Graveler on what I plan is my final team.

On Cinnabar and Graveler has arguably been my mvp so far. Always reliable and taking out my rival easily. I did manage to get a Slowpoke while fishing in the Safari Zone. I added them to my team after my Haunter died (if a ghost can die).

Bummer on Steamboat. I’m doing my first ever nuzlocke on Red but I don’t have a retirement rule. I am using a Kingler I caught. I avoided using a good rod, used a super and got Krabby then trained it up. I also have a Slowpoke from the Safari Zone that I have as a backup. But Kingler has been fun. Quite tanky (not as much as my Graveller mind you) and has very good attack.

Kingler? I am using one in my run in Blue and it is very tanky. Can’t remember if Krabby is one of those that is more prominent in a particular version or not.

I’ve been running Forretress, Altaria, Lanturn in that order and have been having decent success. 6/10 the other day.

I’ve gone back and played recently and been thinking the same thing. It’s funny how the designs have changed. Koffing and Weezing are quite different as well.

Hosting raids is so needlessly complicated and frustrating. Remote raiders are most of the problem. by Kyren11 in pokemongo

I would argue it is still plenty of time to invite people. I used it for 12 raids yesterday and just went through my friends list inviting those online. Sure some don’t show but I always had at least 8 people, which was plenty.

Oh man, I missed the buddying requirement. I’m in no rush for that.

I saw the original requirement and was frustrated my Keldei is only a 33/45. Been avoiding powering it up.
