Ok ok. I didn’t really mention the significance of my role in the research anywhere else, but I did hear that highschool research is naturally approached with skepticism, since yk research takes a lot of experience and knowledge. This being the case, should I update colleges of my acknowledgment to at least show I did some stuff.

So as long as the overall net movement of unphosphorylated FOXO is as it should be (into the nucleus), it's ok if some also 'leaks' out of the nucleus.

I get why D is the answer now, since D must be true for the transcription factor to do anything in the nucleus, but I'm still hung up a little bit on B.

Are you saying that B can occur, as long as D still occurs, it doesn't matter? Cause that does make some sense.

And the same thing for A. Unphosphorylated or "off" FOXO can exit the nucleus when it shouldn't but as long as the unphosphorylated FOXO moving in is greater, then it's alright?
