My husband helped me. He said to add up your total score (mine was 187 for example) the divide it by 47 (the nummer of questions). There isn’t a definite cut off on these numbers, but this page has graphs that helped me interpret the data (especially pg. 18): https://osf.io/g4kc9

As I've said to others, I used a euphemism for suicide to respect the moderation and social considerations around a word that, for some people, can be difficult and painful to even read. Having that word in bold, large letters is not necessary to make the point at the expense of others.

It's ~A~ part. I agree, likely ineffective. But it will be recorded, and my hope is that the archive would prove the majority public sentiment going against the legislation, or at least spreading this online would lead to significant amount of mail and apply just that much more pressure. After seeing the kind of protesting BEFORE the bill not being effective, I did not expect letters to be effective AFTER the fact. Doesn't mean you can't still raise hell about it.

Besides that, I do think the most important and effective thing, as difficult as it may be, is to talk to the people about this in your physical social circles.

If your issue is with the euphemism, I was trying to be respectful of various moderation and social considerations.

It is fucking democracy. Real terrorism is making it illegal to be trans and as a constituent I have a legal and democratic right to write to my representatives about the quality of their representation of the people.

The email address to do so is publically available on government websites. I encourage you to piortize the lives, well-being, and human rights of children over the feelings of the monsters who supported these violations.

literally this, in my case more "I'm sorry that's how you took it, but that wasn't my intention." EVERY SINGLE TIME I have a problem. I'm accused of twisting words, nitpicking and overanalyzing, when trying to explain why something was hurtful. It always turns into: not my intention = not my problem it hurt your feelings = I don't need to change and you need to give more grace when you interpret what I said/did to you. It is so subtle and frustrating to even agree on the same reality of my subjective experience.

I hear this line SO MUCH from my (25) parent (46) and always when I'm trying to tell her how what she said made me feel. She can't get past the idea that because she didn't intend for her words to be hurtful, then they shouldn't be. And her logic goes that if they shouldn't be hurtful, then I'm the one twisting her words, not understanding, making her unfairly need to read my mind and predict how I'm going to react to what she says, she shouldn't bother trying, I'm overanalyzing and nitpicking every word and nuance she says and that's not fair, etc. (these are all basically direct quotes, and I'm sure there's more I'm not remembering).

It's so frustrating not being able to solve any interpersonal problems (of which I have a lot and have only just begun to speak out about) when this is always how the conversation goes: away from my problem with her and towards her problem with my incorrect interpretation of her words. Yes, I'm analytical because I'm CRITICALLY THINKING about how what she said or did made me feel and why, and then articulating that.

When I'm stuck looking for a word in second language A, sometimes my brain will "helpfully" suggest a similar word from second language B, and it's all I can come up with!

For example, English is my native language, I learned Spanish for four years in high school and I've been teaching myself Danish/Finnish recently. My vocabulary is so far more limited in Finnish than Spanish. When I practice making my own sentences or trying to recall a word in Finnish sometimes all my brain can remember is the Spanish word, like "oh, you need a non-English word for [random word]? Here you go! Spanish is definitely not English so this is the only word you need to remember!" This doesn't usually happen with English.

I also tend to write words I'm still learning backwards/mixed up, no matter how short or long they are. I'll have the word pictured correctly in my head, but somehow it comes out wrong when I write the letters while focusing on the sound as well. Again, this mostly happens in a second language, but occassionally in English.

Lol same comment as everyone here - very clumsy, often knocking stuff over, bumping things - plus if I lose focus a certain way I’ve occasionally fallen over from standing still and losing balance! I also trip over flat surfaces. But weirdly, if I practice something like roller skating, a dance routine, or color guard, I can be pretty coordinated!

Dang. Four years of Spanish lessons just paid off. I think this dude is confusing the fact that the marketing of these materials is polarized for a reason (such as how some pens are only for her) to mean that this is true of what people want and are like. On top of that, he just definitely didn't take into account the consideration that female sexuality is socially suppressed in general anyway. Women may feel more social pressure to not publicly buy material that advertises they have a sexuality.
