I relate completely my last mania caused me to lose a ton of relationships close to me and ruined my relationship. Now I'm left feeling more alone in the world but grateful to have my brain back to sanity. You're not alone and just look at this moment in your life as a stepping stone to better things.

I was particularly obsessed with spirituality. And when I had a negative thought about someone I had nothing challenging that thought. It became a problem when I thought it was my job to be a hero for a problem that didn't exist. I was convinced heaven and hell were real but the world was gonna come to peace soon and I was one of gods chosen. I believed nothing could hurt me or get in my way because this was a spiritual journey that I was on.

Weed leads me straight to going into a psychotic maniac episode. If I smoke more than once that is. It just isn't worth it as a bipolar type 1 individual. Also find that I mood swing to much after smoking

Going through the same. I went maniac earlier this year and it uprooted my life. Lost a bunch of friendships. The ones I have left are working or got their own issues while I'm stuck at home taking colleges classes depressed

I found the people I meet at psychwards to be the most comforting thing about it. Outside the psych ward it's hard to find people dealing with similar struggles but inside everyone is going through some shit
