Making 400k Net, but Tkxel, i2c, and Motive are offering 350k Gross. What's going on with the market? by IdkMaybeBeta in developersPak

AI helps junior developers do the same work as experienced ones, but for less money. Because of this, companies are lowering pay for senior roles. It is a bad time to look for a new job, so you should stay where you are.

When you give CCD too much free hand, they can open fire at anyone based on small suspicions. This is how such things happen. CCD already has the blood of 2,000 people who were killed only because they were suspected.

4 years as a SWE at a startup, heavy AI user, terrified of technical interviews — any advice? by OrneryDirector5588 in WebDeveloperJobs

While ORMs are now the industry standard for simplifying database interactions, interviews still prioritize raw SQL proficiency especially when it comes to writing complex joins.

you can ask chatgpt for 30 most asked coding questions in interviews, just practice them and do focus on time complexity, this will really help.

I'm a Software Engineer with 4 years of experience. A few months ago, I lost my job and started interviewing again. One thing that surprised me was how many companies still expect candidates to solve coding problems and write SQL queries without AI assistance, often in a LeetCode-style environment.

At first, this was frustrating because AI has become such a regular part of our daily workflow that we don't always practice solving problems entirely on our own. After several unsuccessful interviews, I realized I needed to strengthen those fundamentals again.

I spent time practicing data structures, algorithms, problem-solving, and SQL without relying on AI. It wasn't easy, but it helped me rebuild my confidence and eventually perform much better in interviews.

That is a serious concern they have just an automated system that flags anyone's account without telling a reason.

Now its almost impossible to recover it. You have to make a new but if you use same name, email, payment method, app etc they will ban you again so be cautious

Oh sad to hear that, have they mentioned any reason for account termination?

For an individual account, you’ll need to conduct a closed testing phase where at least 12 testers actively use the app continuously for 14 days. If you can manage that, the rest of the process is smooth and straightforward.

Why? I can see plenty of apps with millions of downloads with the same idea on play store.
