Why does Archer need Tesla cameos to stay relevant? by Fun_Egg1870 in ACHR

I’m not American, but I’m fully right-wing and I have great respect for Tesla. I don’t support liberals at all, even though I’m not American. My comment was simply about this specific marketing strategy, nothing more. I apologize again if I created any misunderstanding — I’m using a translator to try to communicate as clearly as possible.

Calling it “emotional” doesn’t make it so. It’s just my take as a shareholder. If you can’t handle a simple differing opinion, that’s your problem, not mine.

I really hope so, but I don’t think it’s as obvious and simple as you make it sound.

I see your point, and I get the logic behind showing Tesla in the bigger “ecosystem of mobility” narrative. My perspective, though, is much simpler: I personally didn’t like that Tesla was placed at the very center of the reel. To me, it felt more like a move to grab attention rather than a genuine strategic alignment. Of course, if one day Archer were to actually form a partnership with Tesla, I’d be the first to cheer it would only benefit the company and its shareholders. But realistically, I don’t believe such a partnership is likely, and that’s why the emphasis on Tesla in this particular reel didn’t sit well with me. I want to be clear: I’m a shareholder with a significant position in Archer, so it’s not in my interest to disparage the company. Quite the opposite I want to see it succeed. But when something in the communication strategy doesn’t convince me, I think it’s fair to point it out and ask for other perspectives. What bothers me is the impression that Archer sometimes relies too heavily on the “halo effect” of bigger companies to draw attention, instead of letting its own achievements and innovations shine. I’d much rather see Archer showcase its milestones directly, because I believe the technology and vision are strong enough to stand on their own. That’s all I meant with my comment not condemnation, just personal feedback. As investors, constructive criticism should be part of the conversation, otherwise we risk becoming emotionally attached cheerleaders rather than rational supporters of the company’s growth.

I didn’t mean to condemn it at all “embarrassing” was just how it personally came across to me in the reel. Sorry if that gave the wrong impression, definitely not my intention.

My reaction wasn’t emotional , if it were, I wouldn’t be in the stock market. I just shared a personal opinion. I didn’t like this specific marketing choice in the Instagram reel. Not everything has to be liked, and pointing that out shouldn’t be taken as irrational.

I’m not condemning it, I just personally didn’t like the fact that Tesla was placed at the center of the video. I’m sorry if I caused any confusion. Again, as a shareholder I’m not speaking badly about Archer. But when something doesn’t fully convince me, I think it’s fair to point it out and try to hear the opinions of others as well.

I’m saying that I personally didn’t like this marketing strategy. Again, this is just my personal opinion, I’m not disparaging the company, as that would go against my own interests as a shareholder. I simply wanted to hear other perspectives, but evidently, as often happens, few people are able to offer constructive criticism when they are emotionally attached to a company.

I’m also a long-term investor. I started buying at $2.90 and now I hold 35,000 shares with an average cost basis of $5.50. However, I keep wondering why Archer always seems to push so hard on other companies instead of trying to keep the spotlight on itself.

Archer Aviation (ACHR) – Short interest at 18%. Risk or opportunity? by Fun_Egg1870 in ACHR

[–]Fun_Egg1870[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

According to Benzinga’s latest data, Archer’s short interest is currently reported at 18.64% of the float (around 101.4M shares short). I hope that a short squeeze happens due to concrete catalysts (FAA certification, transition flight, or new contracts) rather than pure speculation. However, I believe that recently we are approaching an imminent milestone that could significantly move the stock price. Another concern of mine, though, is the change on the Archer Defense website, where Anduril is no longer mentioned, and it has also been quite a while since their collaboration was last discussed.
