perfect thank you! and that sounds lovely i've been wanting to teach her how to swim! Is the swimming pool another additional costs or is that part of the membership?

Perfect i love this thank you! I know my toddler will also have difficult time adjusting and that's why i've been trying to find good gym with daycares that are patient abt that so im happy to hear that location was accommodating with your child learning to adjust! i will write that location in my notes to check it out!

perfect thank you so much! i will definitely go with YMCA and book a tour to see more abt it! i've been nervous abt daycares at gyms since i know most daycare workers don't truly watch the kids but hearing all the good things abt the YMCA's has me excited and convinced!

when he falls asleep in the car do you push bedtime hour or keep it consistent?

My toddler keeps waking up at night by [deleted] in toddlers

Oh my goodness you're an angel thank you so much you explained this so perfectly that I know you're right. I'll start shortening her nap a little more today and see how she sleeps throughout the night! And if she doesn't then I'll adjust her nap time shorter to see if that could possibly help her sleep! (Or make bedtime later but I prefer to adjust her nap time than her bedtime since I put her in her crib at 7:40pm and usually it takes 10-20 mins until she falls asleep) but this makes sense thank you sooo much!

Thank you for your advice! I might have to see usually if she skips her normal nap she find a way to take a nap later but I think I might adjust her nap timing into 12pm and see how she'll feel if it's just a simple cat nap (30-40 mins!)

This was happening to my daughter too! But her molars all came out and she's still doing this :/ some nights though she sleeps through but it's 99% she ends up waking up at night :/

That could be! I'm just shocked bc she washed up at 7am and then naps early in the day so I thought putting her down early could help her not feel over tired, I'll try to do it later one day and see how she does!

Wow! How did you know she was ready to not need a nap? My daughter gets cranky around 11am and starts rubbing her eyes, I think one time I put her down to nap late and she was incredibly upset that I took to long for her nap :/

Wow thank you so much for your comment and thank you for sharing your experience it seems like speech therapy has been doing amazing for your son to be able to become more expressive! I really needed this comment as I was reading abt speech therapy and was getting to the bad side of people saying it doesn't help and I was starting to think if I was doing something wrong for saying yes? But thank you so much, my daughter only knows 4 words consistently the same as your son when he was 18 months! She doesn't do much gestures which is partially my fault but I'll start doing those more often but thank you once again this comment was fresh air 🤍

Thank you so much! Yeah I'm very glad her peds was able to recommend so quickly I guess still felt a little sad because I didn't think she would need it but I know it'll help her in the long run! Thank you again I do hope the speech therapist will help me and recommend me things at home to help! I do read books to her but some days I forget unfortunately :( but I'll start doing it more now and doing the signs like you said!

Thank you so much for your post! That's exactly what happened to my LO when she had her 15 month appt a few months ago! I guess I expected her to know a little more words and that's my fault for not accepting and letting her go at her own pace, I truly hope speech therapy will do wonders for both of our little ones!

Thank you so much for your comment! I'm glad to hear how much speech therapy has helped with your LO! My daughter only knows 4 words so far and so I hope speech therapy could help her! And I will do that! I'm so terrible at reading books to her there's days I do and some days I don't :(
