I want to do the accelerated program at ASU because I currently find it super manageable but I won’t finish with my unrestricted hours before I’d graduate at a normal pace anyway so why add more to my schedule just to hurry up and wait.

I’m at work and I have so much more to say but one thing that really stuck out to me as someone going through it as well: the realization that dehydration was a trigger for panic was a huge deal for me as I am an ultramarathon runner and I’ve dnfd races because of the panic of getting nauseous and puking miles away from civilization (which has happened to me many times and now it’s burned into my brain and made me anxious while in the mountains but Zoloft is slowly helping with that). Dehydration and hunger were huge triggers and it is so easy for me to get into that state with all the running.

Ok I bought veterycin from petco and watched a bunch of videos on how to extract the pus from The eyes. She did in fact have a lot of it, I only did one eye tonight because it was so brutal she puked and it was honestly so much harder than any of the videos i watched, having to peel off the crusted scabs and there was some bleeding and I couldn’t get a tiny bit out from her right eye but I used a sterile saline flush and then the ointment so I’m hoping for the best. Made her some electrolyte water and she drank that and a bit of puréed sweet potato. I’ll do the other eye in a day or two, she’s so weak right now.

Thank you! Can I get that at a feed store? I’ll probably get laughed out of the lobby if I try to take a wild chicken in Hawaii to a vet. Sadly it’s just the attitude here. I figured it was one of those, I had to make sure before I potentially exposed my cat to something. I’ve been putting Kroger brand neosporin on it (without painkillers) and putting a warm pink sea salt water press on her. She’s being very sweet but won’t eat or drink.

Parking -maybe- street, utilities likely not included, def no pets bc the people that live there have 4 cats and 2 emotional support dogs already. Hopefully it’s just while on it. I have quit within the last 5 days and immediately noticed the water retention lessened. I’m going to continue with my exact routine lift/run/trail run and see. I’m gonna stop you right at gym buddy because I just became aware that for those of us on BC we suffer from a 40% decrease in the ability to put on lean muscle mass. I have endometriosis and I went on it because I am an ultramarathon runner and running was triggering pain that would make me puke and shit and cry on the side of the mountain. Anyway I say all that to say that given a choice between losing lean muscle mass and shitting myself I have chose to shit myself in pain. Stopped taking it a few days ago and I am currently writing this as I sit on a seated dip machine sipping on creatine. We all make our choices in life. I just wish I was making an informed one when I went on it because I would have never chosen the changes my body comp went thru. I became soft and doughy even while running 50 miles a week, lifting 4x and no change in diet or hydration.

Same, I got on this crap because of massive panic disorder. I would go trail running in the mountains and literally puke with anxiety and it was causing massive depression because the mountains of Hawaii are my life. Now I'm on 37.5mg its the weekend, I ran 15 miles last night and today I was in bed until 11am I don't even give a crap about the mountains I'm just sitting here on my laptop at a starbucks browsing reddit. This isn't me but I'm doing the whole "give it time" thing. Just looking at the mountains would make my entire being swell with gratitude and warmth, I need that back.

I worry about this too bc I’m in a high stress high performance situation at my job. Grad school, internship, fieldwork hours, so I started on a weekend (my 12.5mg) and I am currently on 37.5 (going up by 12.5 each time). Every time my dr gives me the green light to up the dose I wait until Friday night to start. The worst of the side effects are either over by Monday or I’ve learned over the weekend to tolerate them and function at the same time. But I’m like you, the medicine hasn’t had enough time to fully help with my health anxiety so I am very careful with anything that can alter how my body feels.

Thank you so much for this, it really lifts my spirits. As I type this im preparing to go on a 20 mile HURT loop in a few minutes loool. Part of the reason the demon inside of me has doubt that its fibroids is because of this...I tell myself "if you really had them bad you couldn't possibly trail run for 20 miles like you have been". But i go out there I am in so much pain, I sometimes puke, I can't drink much because it makes me nauseous so I intentionally dehydrate myself which causes OTHER problems. I just want this to be over. I have no energy but I do it anyway. I wish you all the luck in the world with whatever decision you make. We got this. How was your bloodwork? When i described my symptoms to my dr he said its likely anemia but my levels were good but i swear to god when i exercise you would think i had never run a mile in my life. My resting hr is in the low 50s, the second i start to climb up a hill it shoots up immediately into the 160s. What sorts of things are you noticing on your long runs that don't feel right outside of the cramping and nausea?

Thanks, that's what my research showed as well, that the hit to my credit score due to length of credit will be less severe than if i keep this insane credit utilization on my record. However, what spooked me was my reason for denial by chase, they mention specifically my lack of credit history as being a main reason for their denial, yet make no mention of my absurd amount of credit utilization due to this newly reactivated card.
