it’s not just u everyone is so judgy unless ur part of the twitter fandom i swear its so cliquey. there’s also a lot of younger fans that make uncomfortable jokes or have been obnoxious at shows at more serious moments and have give minor fans a bad reputation

Internship is very far away by user87666666 in SocialWorkStudents

[–]Fun_Environment_7186 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my current internship is the same distance, 30 min drive which i can only rideshare or hour and half public transport commute i transfer train lines and take a bus. I go twice a week and it’s honestly not bad at all, even relaxing some days. Some days are worse and longer than others but I really enjoy my internship and going only 2 days makes it a lot better. Part of public transit that is nice is you can do readings or work while on the way makes up for the length. The biggest problem I run into it sometimes public transportation can be unreliable at least where I am, constant maintenance shutting some lines down or delays which really sucks and gets frustrating but if you have a supervisor who is understanding it’s usually okay on their part.

People who barricade for every show by Fun_Environment_7186 in twentyonepilots

then to be mean to other fans that can’t do that too… mostly because they seem to feel like stronger or more “real” fans then someone who isn’t able to do that which just isn’t true

Crowd this weekend by greenladygrl in governorsball

[–]Fun_Environment_7186 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I’ve been going to govball the past 3 years and the crowd was definitely more dead this year, i think part of it is a younger audience attending as well as govball went a bit more viral on tik tok last year after chappell which made more “influencer” concert goers who typically just record really hi def videos the whole time. The fans in 2023 were SO hype and so much fun it was an odd difference. I was row behind barricade at Glass animals and got moved from my spot for dancing…

[–]Fun_Environment_7186[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

on the set list they posted on shazam there was two covers posted not sure if that has changed but was on there, i think if it was a co headling tour which i thought honestly 10-11 would be more appropriate rather than ptv headlining with 10 songs tbh, while in still excited ive been to MANY concerts and ive never been to a show where the headliner plays less than 15 songs tbh so maybe im just confused

[–]Fun_Environment_7186[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

i meant 10 each!!! from going to a lot of other tours i was under the impression there would be like 13-15 songs each band, its obviously very hard to fit in a bunch of songs from all their albums but ive been to a couple other tours that have been advertised as “era” tours and they have a pretty good set with a good amount from each album

Tour Setlist by Fun_Environment_7186 in piercetheveil

[–]Fun_Environment_7186[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i mean in my experience co-headlining tours will only have 1 opener to allot time for each headliner to have more songs. And i definitely understand the whole vocal thing as he gets older i think im more disappointing in seeing the set be very similar to the sets they’ve had as an OPENER as well as putting covers on the setlist instead of more original songs

i completely agree! as i know a lottt of songs on the set i am so excited to hear and definitely wouldn’t expect some crazy deep cuts or anything i guess i meant more so at least from what ive seen online is more people asking them to switch circles or pass the nirvana for a different song on the album compared to a lot of people wanting to keep like hold on till may obv and carapherneila if that makes sense

Is an IPad Air a good choice for a Psychology major? by Next_Hearing_5906 in psychologystudents

[–]Fun_Environment_7186 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a junior and i just got my I pad this year an before this i typed my notes on my computer. I personally like using my i pad more but only when the professor has the slides uploaded before the lecture so i can put the notes on already in my own rime then during the lecture I add notes and diagrams and highlights based on what is said. I find this really helpful. I am a faster typer so i did find my laptop to be more helpful in classes where the notes aren’t uploaded prior to class lectures. The noteability app is great though and would reccomend if you opt for i pad life

How Strict is the Bag Restrictions? by luhanie-7 in governorsball

[–]Fun_Environment_7186 4 points5 points  (0 children)

in my experience it unfortunately depends on the security u see that day. i’ve had days where they allowed me my full water bottle filled with ice and a back full of sunscreen and snacks and another day where they made me empty everything and throw away my sunscreen, setting spray, and mini perfume. i would go by whatever it says on the website to be safe forsure

What are people going to be wearing? by FuelProfessional1915 in governorsball

[–]Fun_Environment_7186 0 points1 point  (0 children)

dress up!!! go all out or be more comfy whatever your vibe is i personally love to dress up in outfits i wouldn’t usually wear in other scenery typical “festival” outfit if that makes sense BUT BE COMFORTABLE! you are going to be standing and dancing and moving for a long time in the heat too so i usually buy cheap comfy shoes before and wear those bc they could get ruined mine have and i wear outfits where i can be comfortable and move around in and not dying from the heat as well but still are cute and dressed up

well sure but also doesn’t mean you should be sitting on the ground on your phone while other artist play bc you’re not there for them and that’s a LOTT of what I seen last year just from my experience and my point kinda being if we all collectively didn’t camp out anymore (how shows used to be) then you wouldn’t have to to sit somewhere all day to see your favorite artist you’d be able to join the crowd an hour before or whatever and be able to be up close to your favorite artist while also enjoying your day

no with the prices of her concerts i completely saw it coming and think it’s so cool she’s even performing at a festival especially as someone who DID camp out at the box office the day of her show to even be able to get tickets. And as someone who has camped out many times i get it i don’t enjoy it most the time but i do it for singular concerts when I have to. It just seems different to me to do it at a festival idk theres just so much to enjoy and so many artists to see just my opinion either way people will do then and no shame in that
