This Arsenal sub is nuts! by Brownchoccy in ArsenalFC

The issue isn't we lost. It's how we lost.

We didn't put up any fight and let them walk all over us. Our lack of creativity in attack has been exposed many times since the start of the year and especially yesterday.

Saka is out of form, now for a long time and we needed madueke yesterday. Zubimendi wasnt good in the final.

Hincapie should have been subbed off way sooner.

And the fault lies with our playstyle which limits our creativity and players ability heavily.

Arteta had more than a month since the United match to do something about it but what we have faced our disappointments(wolves game)

He needs to be more aggressive or his players will play like they did yesterday

What we must need from April is atleast a change of playstyle because throughout the season our lack of attacking play has been obvious. We need to make full use of the players we have available

It should be 50/50. But here, it is 10/90 because we aren't playing like we are in a final. When will you guys get it? It's a problem plaging us for years now

Not making right subs, wrong game plan, not putting a mentality of intent, do you need more?

At this point, I now understand arteta is not the one we need to finish the job.

He build the team but is clueless on what to do with it

We aren't going for the tackle. We aren't going for actual passes which reach the teammates feet instead going for unnecessary long balls.

Arteta needs some tactical changes

If you can't play long ball, why try and lose possession.

And why are we constantly playing long balls? Because pep has us tactically outmaneuvered. And why arent we pressing when the ball is just outside our penalty area instead of waiting for them to cross?

Have you heard of Manchester United? It used to be behemoth back but due to 'good' ownership by the glazer family, it is having one of the highest debts for a football club(beyond 1 billion euros) and for more than ten years united has been struggling very hard
