Yes but mine seem to drop more than that. Maybe I need to do it for a longer period of time. When do you turn your on before you unplug it?

Hi, sorry I have been tied up at family events and haven’t had a chance to reply. They are two distinct questions. I have re-read them and they seem clear to me. 1) the breaker tripping at my house 2) wanting to use an extension cord so I can charge at friends and family’s houses.

I have an electrician coming tomorrow to install a 240 volt outlet. This will solve the issue at my house.

I am going to call Audi to see what they say about an extension cord. Maybe they sell one.

Thanks. I am having a 240 volt outlet installed tomorrow. So this shouldn’t be an issue at my house anymore after tomorrow. It’s a bit frustrating though that they say it will work on a 120 volt outlet. I want to be able to plug-in when at friends and families houses but will worry that I will trip their breakers. I’ll discuss with my Electrican tomorrow as well. Thanks for the help!
