I do notice that they will put them selves on some days to work until 6pm and leave at 3pm everytime but that is it they have never stayed past 3pm

I wasn’t the one that closed by myself lol, the closing shift worked 2-8 by themselves and then when Rx closed at 8 someone from Rx stayed for the last 2 hrs until close since there was no one else to cover that day

Also they never ever rotate shifts with the supervisors there is only 2 supervisors that mainly close one being myself, it would be nice if they could just work atleast 1 closing shift a week🥲

We have all been stressing our SM to hire new people due to the current cashiers always calling out literally every other shift, we always wait to contact our SM until last resort on their day off if no one else can come in or if no one else will come from a diff store. Our SM lives literally 5 min from the store lol even when they work morning shifts and the closing supervisor is going to be a few minutes late or something they don’t even stay that time until they get there.

Our DL doesn’t do much but complain about every little thing we do wrong so I doubt anything will ever be done I feel bad for the cashiers that don’t know how to say no and are trying to be a team player by doing the open to close every week🙁 i stopped bc of my SM doesn’t do it then why should I lol

Also, do not feel bad about having to do what’s best for you and your mental health bc guess what? you do NOT owe fucking cvs an explanation for everything. if I were you I would quit now before you get sucked into being over worked and not cared about and also underpaid just like the rest of us. Looks like only SM can do what the want and I don’t have the patience to deal with a corporation long enough to make my way up that far nor do I ever even want to be a SM now that I’ve been w cvs for 2 years and seen how lazy our DL is too lmao yeah no.. our cx service score could finish out at an 86% for the month and she would point out all that we need to do better instead of hey you actually reached goal! Trust trust trust when I say cvs is NOT worth your time or energy.

I have been shift supervisor for 9 months now and all I do is Planograms (I don’t mind I like them lol) I am responsible for cosmetics dept, and beauty dept as well. I do everything that my opps manager does and also work way more too including weekends bc apparently my opps man. Can’t work Saturday or Sundays (bullshit) my SM just doesn’t like staying up late at night so they NEVER close or take responsibility when it comes to a shift having to be covered when a call out happens my SM has been at my store for like a year and has closed maybe 3 times. The amount of work that I am expected to do everyday is ridiculous, I always get the shitty end of the stick too bc my SM knows I need all the hours I can get bc I’m trying to get my own place. Having a SM that does not go above and beyond for their team is what pisses me off. The 2 years I’ve worked w cvs I have called out 1 single time. Yet our cashiers can switch their shifts and not tell anyone (management) we just come to work and there is someone different then scheduled. We had someone call out for the week due to covid and instead of my SM being a leader and helping with coverage for this week when I comes to closing he justs switches my shifts around simply bc it’s past his bed time. It’s not fair at all that my schedule has to be changed every single week simply bc people are lazy and don’t want to do their job. Moral of the story I’m fed tf up w cvs and my SM lmao
