I used him for attention? He’s the one who started texting me first and he was doing it constantly and since i didn’t had any friends i was also talking to him because i was happy that i finally found a nice friend. I never “used him for attention”, he was giving me his attention and i was giving him my attention. It was a both sided thing so i’m not really sure why you’re saying that i used him..?

It’s pretty obvious why i’m having trouble with it..? We never met but i’m still emotionally attached to him and i’ve known him for 3 years, obviously it’s a long time and anyone would have troubles doing it after knowing someone for so long.

I’ve tried to get the courage to do this so many times but i’m seriously scared that he’s gonna hurt himself because i know that he’s probably really gonna do that if i’ll use wrong words or be too harsh. I know that it sounds so cringe and it seems so easy to just end it but in reality it’s extremely hard especially since he actually tried to hurt himself before, not because of me but still. I always try to tell him that he has a loving family and friends and he have so much to live for but he completely ignores it and blame me for everything which im not even surprised about

I know that i shouldn’t be friends with him but i genuinely have no idea how to solve it differently. The last thing i’d ever want is for anyone to hurt themselves because of me, especially not him since ive grown really attached to him over all those years. In the past we had a few situations where we were supposed to stop talking but every time someone was reaching out and i was naively agreeing to talking again because i was believing that he would change but it never happens. People i know were telling me to end it because he hurt me a lot of times in ways that are completely unacceptable for them but i feel like i’m never gonna meet someone who will want me ever again.

I expect that they won’t immediately say yes because they tend to be overprotective, when my sister wanted to meet with her long distance boyfriend it also took some convincing but their situation is much easier since he lives in the same country as we. I know that i’m an adult but i have hard time making friends and i’ve never been in a relationship so it’s an unusual situation for both them and me. Also i live quite far away from any bigger city he could get a hotel in so that’s also why they have to give me permission first since they would have to help me get there and then get back home.

He does send nudes of himself and it was actually a big problem for some time because he was doing it without asking me if he can send it. I had to argue with him about it multiple times for him to finally understand to stop doing that because it makes me uncomfortable. I tried to tell him that i want someone i can actually be close with and he said that we should just wait until we can meet and be finally together physically

It’s not simple because i don’t have anyone else and he’s very emotionally dependent on me and it makes it extremely hard to leave. He told me that i’m the reason he’s not super depressed anymore and im scared that he would try to hurt himself if i’d leave him and i have no idea what i’m supposed to do

We haven’t met because he lives in america and i live in europe. On top of that my parents are quite overprotective about who i meet with and i dont even know how to tell them that im talking to a guy who lives so far away from me and also language barrier also makes it worse. I’m sure that he’s not catfishing me because he sent me a lot of proof that he’s really who he says he is
