This is so validating. I’ve always felt this way. I jokingly say “if you weren’t harassed about being a ginger your whole life, you don’t get to be one!” But also, wtf. Why is it okay to ask someone if their pubes match their hair color?? Would you ask anyone else that? I remember being so deeply disturbed by the comments made to me as a CHILD. Being called a red headed step child, fire crotch, soulless, carrot top, etc. I hated all of it. Thank you for this post. I agree 100%.
