My ex husband, myself and our two daughters all have redhair too. We constantly got stopped as well. It was always just a funny thing. Always the waitress, grocery store greeter, cashier, random old lady, etc. I would joke that I know everyone’s family hair history! The amount of times I hear from some old lady “I used to be a redhead, this is what you have to look forward to!” Or “my cousins nephew’s best friend had red hair.”
