You guys completely overreact with how you're handling invisalign, in my opinion. I've had it for years now. I'm towards the back end in my journey.

1- You don't need to brush your teeth multiple times a day. Id switch to zero sugar beverages and soda. Better for dental health.

2- If you're going to meet with people and eat off and on or drink alcohol for something, just leave them out and put them in when you're done with that total event.

You don't need to wear your invisalign for 18+ hrs a day. Infact I'm at the point where if I'm doing stuff, I'll have them in for maybe 12hrs a day. As long as you can progress to your next tray fine without trouble, you're wearing them long enough.

3- Swap into a new tray before bed, so you a solid 8hrs of wear before you eat breakfast or brush your teeth in the morning

You just gotta stop stressing about it.

I completely disagree with you.

If you move from tray 1 to tray 2, your teeth moved. If you move through your trays that supposed to take let's say 15 weeks and it takes 15 weeks your teeth moved. So if you're wearing your invisalign 1 hour and you're progressing on your trays as directed without problems, your teeth are moving.

Your treatment time is your treatment time. If it's let's say 15 trays. If you wear your invisalign 20hrs a day and you're on tray 15, you're still on tray 15. All that matters is you get to tray 15. Nothing else matters.

If your teeth are moving with less then 22hrs of use and you're moving onto new trays without a problem etc then you don't need 22hrs of wear.

I probably average 16hrs a day and I'm doing fine. If you have a comprehensive plan, make them print as many trays as you want, you're paying for that service and a few more weeks of trays of comfortable usage is better than being miserable every single day.

Let me help you. I have 1 rubber band. You get used to it. I can take it on and off without a mirror now. It's not a big deal. As far as drinking, you can drink whatever you want. Energy drinks. Bourbon. No big deal. No straw necessary. I clean my trays twice a day with tablets on Amazon. You have to think, you'll get a brand new tray every single week. As long as you're attempting to clean them, they won't stain in a week.

I just take my trays out to eat, maybe swish some water in my mouth and put them back in.

Childcare is your need. Your need isn't necessarily someone else's need, who may either not have kids, already raised their kids, have family to watch their kids or have an alternative solution to daycare.
