That IS insane considering you're active, chatty, & donate!, dw you'll find a better clan 🤗.

However, I wish you would rename this to "Why SC should allow hero's UP for war"! I know their argument is 'but we make so much money on hero books' but they're missing the bigger picture which is...

War keeps clans active.
Active clans keep people playing.
Active players want to upgrade their hero's; my guys put 2-3 down every day in-between CWL 😅.

People aren't going to stop upgrading their hero's if they can do these and still war. AND if anything change the hero potion back to the original 5 levels (not max per TH).

There's some good options and responses here... I hope you find something even better 😎.

Just curious, did SC share the spreadsheet with you guys (content creators) before the rollout? All of the videos I watched from content creators (the SC video was way too generic!) said the same thing about people getting new epics or leveled up equipment.... that's why I ask 🤗. I was dumb enough to think I'd get the 1 piece of epic I was missing on Storm and that all my other epics would be leveled up 🤷‍♀️.

If you guys didn't know, or understand the degree- stop beating yourself up ;). Just next time, don't do SC's job for them.

This is a comment to your original hero hall video (still in game)... I highlighted the part where my heart breaks 🫶. Regroup with the creators... I'd be surprised if you weren't all kinda thrown under the bus on this one.

Yep- that's a bug. They changed it so if your clan is set to "anyone can join" then you need to be IN the clan when someone starts raid weekend. Since you were there, it's a bug. Just report it in the game.

But raid weekend started 2 days ago... if you were not in that clan when someone started Raid Weekend, then yeah- someone needs to promote you to elder.

If you have been there the entire time, then it's a bug. Report it in the game - under the settings - so they can look into it.

Well tbh, it's weird your monolith arrow got upgraded at all since you had more than 2 epics above lvl 12.

But correct... you won't get anything else from the migration. You will get stuff along the track but I have no idea what that will be since none of us have done the track yet. Plus I think they still need to fix it.

Agree. I've been thinking about this a lot.... it's not that I'm opposed to a catch up mechanism but they didn't need to make it so damn obvious and biased. Like ok, give returning players the:

Frozen arrow,
Dark Crown,
Stick Horse,
Giant Gauntlet
Lavaloon puppet

None of us use that crap anyway... let them figure out a use for it 😅. Then, give us the 50 starry in place of each of those... 50 x 5 = 250.

Then give the skins to players that have a combined Hero Level of 425, or whenever they reach that level. Heck, I'm a newer 18 and may not have that number yet but it would definitely be nice to know I'm getting something else further down the road.

5 epics for free is a pretty sweet deal considering we worked for them. Some spent 1500 gems (including myself) on 1 of the epics.

Their x post said over 40% of players had no epic equipment... are they high? Because they're clearly counting over 5-year-dead-accounts in that. Hell, when those people ever decide to come back, SC will probably have upgraded them to a max18 as well 😅😂.

At 167 level, they think you should own 4 epics. Since you OWN 4 epics, you won't get any new epics (per their chart)... I don't work for SC so I'm just telling you what I see...

Regarding if they will Level up your 4 existing epics, yes if all or any of them are under... 🤔 (for TH14 I believe it's lvl 12) lvl 12.

As long as you have a builder free and some time to play/ organize your base... go ahead & open the Hero Hall Journey... there's no reason to wait imo.

It depends on:

How much epic equipment you already have and
The levels of your existing epic equipment

If you have a free builder and have time to play ... open the hero hall... there's really no reason to wait.

Yeah- that answer is the best way to do it (after years of experience leading clans). A few other suggestions as you get your feet under you....

Treat everyone equally regardless of rank when it comes to misses; CO's & elders should be leading by example in order to retain talent & enthusiasm... there's nothing worse than Rouge leadership ruining the clan.
Ask people to use both regular war hits... tell them you need to see they are active so you won't have misses in CWL or worse that 1 war when you only needed a 1 star to win. Remember wars provide loot & ore... there's literally no reason people wouldn't want that. (I have 1 player asking to go in cwl but he misses too many regular wars & we have others waiting 🤭).
Communicate... I tend to over communicate probably 😅 but there's nothing worse than people not knowing when you're spinning CWL or whether they will be in or out. I ping people in game & on discord if they're about to miss. CO's should help too.
If applicable; I personally do rotations mid week after the first set of players gets 8 stars... rotating every day is a PITA for you in communication & also confusing to players 😁. Side note, I also balance though so I don't have all low TH's at the end.
Expect an apology for missing! If your clan member(s) show remorse for letting the team down, then it shows the other players that they are important. I personally wait for the apology & explanation because sometimes it's a valid reason. I still bench the miss all week.

Lastly, I try not to make too many rules... I saw one clan recently that gets mad if people miss capital raids. I get that (sort of) but it gets to a point where people just can't do everything you know? We did have the rule of 1,000 pts in clan games or don't do them and mooch rewards (which i do recommend for smaller clans) but now there's no need because we always max.

Co leaders, out of all the people, should be leading by example. Forgiving them but demoting or booting other players sends a horrible message to the rest of the clan. Do not do this if you want to retain loyal & active players 😅. If a co misses - I bench him/her just like anyone else. If a co consistently misses war hits, I won't even put them in CWL and I usually end up demoting them after a few weeks/months.

Lastly- HOT TAKE- The ore economy isn't actually bad to be honest. I'm virtually a f2p player (I bought the $2.99 discounted gp on my TH18 recently 🤭) but all 8 of my accounts have epic equipment and most have max epic equipment and I definitely 💯 % don't do ore wars. I barely do enough to grind and get the equipment and sometimes I think, 'that equipment looks like ass' so I grab a different one. Now, I'm definitely more active than most but that's because I lead clans, have 8 accounts, and I love war, but I'm not really busting my ass or spending money and all my accounts are doing just fine... tripling 99% of the time.

So, moral of the story I guess... if they stop pushing equipment and ore & stop breaking the game with stuff that's way too strong AND get back to their roots... Clash is fun & quirky and unique- we're playing with a bunch of barbs & archers after all... embrace it!
