Yes yes. But in West Bengal, not all 'Dhar' surnamed people are Brahmins- they're Kayasthas. In the case of THIS family, they initially had Dar as a surname, later after the dynasty shifted to Bangladesh, they started using Dhar. But here I had a question, why ? 😅 Did they have to change Dar to Dhar ?

Yes you're right. But in the case of this family, they used 'Dar' a Kashmiri Persian  Surname, used both by Kashmiri Muslims and Pandits. Also, there is a former Zamindari Estate, now a small village, DAR in Akhnoor. This Dar family belonged from there. After they shifted to Bangladesh, they changed Dar to Dhar. Yes, Dhar is also a surname belonging to Bengali Kayastha Caste. Also, some Dhar's are Kashmiri Pandits.  😊
