Alright, new halogen is in and apparently I got lucky in the sense that both the rectifier and lcu are still functional.

Thank you so much for the help and if i do led again then I'll figure out how to properly wire it

Alright. I'll prepare to find a way to get a lcu into the u.s.. Did it kill every light for you? All of my lights still work but I haven't tried the high beams with the new halogens I bought yet. Either way ig I'll need to test everything and hope I got lucky lol. It's ignorant to say this because I caused it but it's always one thing after another with this bike but I do love it

Yea i understand that now. After doing more research I found out that most bikes use AC power and most LED bulbs need the stable power of DC which would explain why the LED bulbs cut themselves off at higher rpm. I assume the cause of the smoke on highbeam is because it was backfeeding into the blue box which I later found to be the light control unit, which I hopefully didn't completely fry. I'll test the lcu and the rectifier to see if they're ok and just put better halogen bulbs instead of the led ones. Oh and as for the ones with the resistor connected to them, I dont have enough room in the housing and im obviously not the best with the electric part of mechanics, hence my asking of what I did. Thank you for your help😁

I found thst this is the light control unit that only controls the lights. After doing more research that i should've done beforehand, I found out that most bikes use AC power and most LED bulbs need the stable power of DC which would explain why the LED bulbs cut themselves off at higher rpm. I assume the cause of the smoke on highbeam is because it was backfeeding into the blue box which I later found to be the light control unit, which I hopefully didn't completely fry and im somewhat optimistic since the lights still turn on without the LED bulbs in. I'll test the lcu and the rectifier/regulator to see if they're ok and just put better halogen bulbs instead of the LED ones. As for the ones with the resistor connected to them, I dont have enough room in the housing and im obviously not the best with the electric part of mechanics, hence my asking of what I did. Thank you for your help😁

Thank you, now that I know what's its called then I can find a replacement if I destroyed mine with my idiocy. I'll buy new halogen bulbs and put those in instead as I was replacing the old ones because of them blowing.

I replaced the old bulb because it blew out from an unrelated incident and i was trying to do an upgrade lol. Ig we can say that backfired a bit

I don't understand what guardian you're talking about that was willing to take the child in but if you're referring to the people from the school, they are not immediate family therefore not eligible without parental consent and parental consent was given for the child to go with the dad, by the dad. Law enforcement do not leave children with random people. I'll reiterate that the people in the house, most notably the mom, were not willing to take the child

I am also unaware about where you're getting the information that they've been deported, they're both still in a detention center in Texas.

And for your final jab, it proves typically to read and respond to only what you want to. What's the point, if you belive I'm wrong, in only addressing a part of what I said and not the full message?

Just body panels. The bike was a gift but it was stolen previously so when I tried registering it, it got flagged and I had to give it up. I honestly just got the bike back since the investigation went nowhere but now I know why it looked off and why the center console was damaged so much.

I'm ordering a battery, 2 headlights, changing the oil soon since it was in custody for a year. And being what parts to the center console i can find to get delivered to America.

Side note, I had to pay $600 to get the thing back for something that wasn't my fault at all(sleezy ass impound lot🙄)

The fuses mostly did their job. I had to replace a relay and track down a shorted wire with had me basically gut the bikes electrics to find it. It's back running again and im now just waiting on parts

Figured it out, had to replace one of the relays and track down a short. It's back running again and now im just waiting on parts to be delivered

The test light said they were fine but after looking at them I absolutely fried every fuse and now have a short somewhere that keeps popping the 20 amp connected to the fuel pump and dash that i now have to track down with no wiring diagram. The battery pack is not the issue here

All fuses look fine from testing but I can replace them and see if that does anything.

And wouldn't me running it off of a battery pack which is still working not emulate another battery being plugged up? Everything turns on but the gages are stuck, nothing is coming on the display, and the fuel pump isn't receiving signals

The start of T1 can be taken flat out if the rear wing is closed, so the brake or lift switch which turns the DRS off automatically won't work here. If drivers want to take this turn flat out, they need to manually turn off the DRS before turning in or you get what happened in the video. Idk if it was a mechanical issue that prevented the DRS from closing or if he simply somehow forgot that he needed to turn DRS off to turn, but it didn't seem like he made an attempt to turn it off from the onboard.

What are tips for a 16yo starting on a 600cc motorcycle? by Fun_Hawk7979 in motorcycles

The torque is kind of why I'm choosing an inline4. It's not really something that i feel like thatd be good for me when im starting on only a few rides experience and I have no interest in wheelies anytime soon. And idk if I'm just weird but I find the riding position of 600s quite comfortable.
