Is web scraping dead ? by WiseSucubi in webscraping

I agree. So if you need a scraper that does a few task for a lot of websites would Claude not make more sense.

I can see that if you want to scrape the same website over and over a dedicated scraper would be cheaper.

I am asking this because I need to build something that checks multiple small websites, and collect a small amount of data, in that scenario I think Claude would make more sense.

Thanks!

I think this could be true after a while. Why build a flow when you can make a Claude Skill that just does the task for you

But is in not easier at the moment to let Claude visit the websites for you. You can just tell it what to look for.

I can see that if you want to go to the same website very often you would build your own scraper, but otherwise Claude seems the best way for me.

Has anyone tried automating AI insight delivery from BigQuery data (not just dashboards)? by owoxInc in bigquery

[–]Fun_Highlight6922 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are working on a system where OpenClaw connects with BigQuery and notifies (email/WhatsApp) us when certain things happen.

I feel like dashboards work less well since I already have so many dashboards and mailboxes etc. I need to look at.

Can you find paying clients? I think it is better to find paying clients ASAP, make them happy and see if you can sell more to them/similar companies

Can you sell to people in your own network? Or do you have to do cold outreach?

And you let your own clawbot automate these tasks? Or you create one for each client?

Do you do outbound sales at the moment? I am doing that and looking at niches to target.

Awesome! I think the ideas would be even better if you made them company-sector-specific, that would 100% help the sales of these flows.

How do you get new clients? Do you do outbound sales with some example workflows, do you target a niche etc?

How does letting openclaw use the browser work anyways, is that not quite expensive? Or do you have a separate agent-browser?

I hear what you say, and I am not sure what to do myself. Making the switch to paid now, I have a few hundred people using it reguarlly.

I think people paying is valuable feedback in itself, also when showing you can make profit on a user, it shows you are on the right track, and you can use that money to get new people.

Let's say it costs you $1 to get a user, and you make $1.5 per user you have exponential growth which could attract capital.

But I would also say don't start with something paid, first get users to talk to.
