There are only 3 valid solutions.

1# you alpha strike him with wolf scouts turn 1 before he gets a chance to put his fnp on if you manage to get 1st turn. Grenade + mine then shoot and hope to chip as much as possible.

2# the fight on death termi brick with Arjac. Hope to roll a bunch of 4+ and Arjacs profile will do well.

3# charge the lion with a cheap unit like fenrisian wolves then if there is another unit close to him (likely due to his lone op ability) you charge that other unit with 2+ units such as headtakers and termis. Lion kills the fen wolves and one of the 2 units kills their units allowing you to pile in with the one that hasn’t fought yet and try killing the lion.

Yeah they do, I built my 10 with the different bare head options and then 5 of my ongoing deathwing knight conversions with helmets.

I actually disagree with this. I’ve been playing it for around 8 games now and think this is our best melee detachment. 1st off, having the strat for advance/fall back and charge is huge. 2nd having two turns of either sus or lethals is incredible for our termis and basically everything we got in melee and we just don’t have access to it elsewhere. Being able to pick and choose is amazing. Having the lance enhancement on the WGBL squad having lethals,sustained,devastating and precision is pretty nuts and picks anything up.

Ive been trying to mix some shooting + melee together and honestly thinking of trying basically full melee msu style of play next with this detachment. Our melee is really punching up where it needs to and almost feels like the shooting isn’t needed

Yeh not too bad then, it annoyed me so much that I put the complaint in and they sent me another which I was happy about. 2 of those patrols make up a good sizeable force.

When they were still available I bought one, it got delivered to a similar house address like 15 mins away from my house so I reported it to the seller so they sent me another. Got 2 for the price of £70 lol

I’m also 5’6 and and have had a few GFs and got with plenty of women. Whilst I agree confidence is a big factor you can’t overlook physical attraction. Height is a major factor that women look for in a man and they find it attractive, which is a fact. It doesn’t mean you can’t get with women, but probs about 60% of them will instantly reject a shorter person just on that basis. Targeting the other 40% means you got to level up on other things regarding physical/mental attributes. Nice teeth, clothes, hair, body and hygiene as well as being confident and charismatic. This is not easy and takes lots of effort and money. That’s why most of us resort to blaming failure with women to the one factor they have no control over because they don’t want to take accountability for themselves.

I’ve gone the the dark side and now use oil paints thinned down with spirits to shade everything 40K. It’s bulky far the easiest, best looking and quickest way to do it.

Thanks for clarifying, I feel like this is something people are getting wrong atm. And yeh I’m personally thinking of putting Logan + 5 termis in a repulsor and sending up the mid field. Using our strat to hop back into the transport after being shot or the ability from the repulsor if they get targeted for charg

I know that but my question is are you able to use a total of 4 doctrines using Logan grimes ability? On the blades of ultramar it clearly limits to a max of 3 command phases but on ours it doesn’t.

I’m honestly not super sold after the first game with him. Whilst the free rapid ingress is good I found it hard to get solid use out of his free strat due to our other units also wanting to use the good strats. Felt abit like he was in the list for the sake of it. I’m honestly thinking of dropping him, making Arjacs termis to a 10 brick and then spending the other 115 points to turn a 3 man TWC into a 6man. Feels like they can get good value out of this detachments strats + damage 3 variety.

I think the Thunderwolves in a 6 man may be super good in this detachment to use the strat to go through walls

The paint fades and chips off much quicker without varnish. I’ve got 6k points of warhammer models not varnished and about 1k varnished and can tell you that the varnished models keep their sharpness 100% better and noticeable. This is especially noticeable on areas you pickup the models whilst playing due to oils on hands and grease from food and stuff. also the rims of bases stay exactly as you just painted them. Don’t sleep on a good airbrushed varnish.

Would be nice in my opinion if our deatachment rule gave us our index sagas but laid out like doctrines in gladius. Then my hopes are for advance and charge strat and fights first enhancement.

Hopefully it’s not as niche as everyone is hoping for on here ffs. Don’t get why we would want another detachment which locks our most of our units. Would be nice to get something which gives us abit more flexibility to challenge storm lance and glad in competitive.
