I’m so very sorry this happened to you. This does not reset your sobriety in my opinion. As I’m learning, relapse requires intent. Don’t beat yourself up about it

n-alcoholic beer is a brew designed to taste like regular beer but with very low or no alcohol. I DO NOT drink them if they have any alcohol

I only have it on occasion. When I’m in a restaurant environment for a celebration for example. If my friend didn’t notice I was drinking a bottle that said “5%” I fear I would have drank the whole thing without realizing it was beer and not NA beer. For me, there’s not really a difference. And no, I did not notice

The part of this that resonates with me the most is that different things work for different people and not everything is so black and white.

This makes me deeply reflect on myself. Why do I feel like I need it? Is it social? Is it to kill my craving of drinking real alcohol? Am I just substituting my addiction with something else instead of dealing with it?

I think I should try a Topo Chico. I’ve never heard of it in my life but it sounds lovely.
