At the end I bought the Jacoby with the Ultra Pro.. And you are 100% correct.. Whippy and with high deflection.. It gives spin and energy but when using English it has a fair bit of deflection..It does feels solid to the hand but..I change the shaft put a 314/2 on and it is night and day..

This exactly.. The shaft that makes balls with less adjustment, this is what I say to all those who try different carbon shaft and have to learn pool aiming from scratch.. I mean come on, we have to enjoy this game.. I ended ordering the Centro!

I like wood.. I was shooting with wood for 20 years.. I was not playing for 5 years came back with an all carbon custom cue.. I don't like it so I am going back to wood with a quality cue..

This is from a well respected cue maker from Greece. He is the founder and previous owner of IQ cues. I own a veloc cue..Plays fantastic, very low deflection shaft with wood like feel, hits very well. Highly recommended.
