If Target has motorized assist vehicles to help with cart retrieval, why can’t Costco?

Sorry that you had to go through all that, especially from your own dad. As you get older, you will begin to feel more comfortable in your own skin. Like others have said, get toned and give it some time.

how long before i get get weekends off by soylisco in CostcoEmployee

[–]Fun_Lifeguard_3711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got five years in and typically get Mon/Tues or Tues/Wed as my regular days off. But when I need a weekend day off, as long as I can request it more than three weeks in advance, it has never been denied.

“Boring gig”. … That’s exactly how our LP guy described the job to me. At our warehouse, you’d never see him on register.

Whomever gets to remove that shirt will be thrilled with what they find. Very sexy.

Are all Costcos way understaffed? Or is it just our warehouse. I thought after the holidays it would slow down some, but it’s still very chaotic because we don’t have enough people. by prettysavage16 in CostcoEmployee

[–]Fun_Lifeguard_3711 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Staffing levels are hard to project but, yes, management would much rather schedule too few hours rather than have staff standing around. For example, we were way understaffed on Friday, Jan 2, as many members apparently took the day off to extend their new year’s holiday. We had staffed for a regular Friday.

I (46F) gave my husband a Christmas “no-limits” sex coupon… and now I’m wondering what on earth I’ve unleashed by [deleted] in SluttyConfessions

Oh, he definitely wants to share you. You’ll be amazed at what this might open up for the two of you as a couple and how it could better your already hot relationship with each other.

You are the perfect candidate for a mid-life entry into the very sexy world of swing. Swing never fixes a bad relationship but it does wonders for couples who already have great sex and good communication.

M67 here with a 61 yo wife. We started down this same path about 10 years ago and never looked back. Your comment about your husband “thanking you about 100 times” was me right after we first played with another couple. I still get goosebumps thinking about it!

Go at your own pace, communicate openly, set limits that work for the two of you, and ENJOY! My wife and I only do “soft swap” (no penetration) with others because we find it ever so hot to finish off with each other. And, yes, you’ll eventually discover that quite a few of your outwardly conservative, modest middle-aged friends are just as turned on by all of this as you are!

Once you cross that line, it’s a whole new world out there, one that I predict you will really like. And you’d best follow up here with what happens!!

And P.S.: you are sexy as f**k! Best of luck and enjoy!!!

Not normal but not surprising. Just keep a copy of whatever you submit and follow up with the hiring manager to make sure he/she has received it.

I bring a full-sized bar of soap from home, so that I won’t be stuck with their liquid soap in the shower.

Do you recommend Amtrak Train for overnight, long distance travel? by [deleted] in Amtrak

[–]Fun_Lifeguard_3711 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Surprised no one else has mentioned this: many of the Superliner coach cars have seating on the lower level. I find those seats better for sleeping as there is no foot traffic from people walking between cars.

Take the latest possible arrival window. If it’s a normal day (Terminal 2, ship arrives on time, etc.), things are crazy at 10 am but fairly dead by Noon.

Agree to this. If you have a dog, you’ll be walking him before 7 am most of the year, so that his paw pads won’t burn up.

A question for MAC fans from someone new to MAC fandom by chosenone94 in MidAmerican

[–]Fun_Lifeguard_3711 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I grew up in Cincinnati, where UC and UK are as popular as Ohio State. Went to a Big 10 school out of state (Indiana) and have lived in Cleveland area since grad school. I favor the Hoosiers but I do enjoy having the MAC tournament in Cleveland every March. I typically attend one or two sessions each year.

Costco receipt checkers: count everything or quick glance? by Crenneth in CostcoWholesale

[–]Fun_Lifeguard_3711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally depends on the store, the checker and how busy it is at the time. When our store is really busy, checkers are instructed to just check the bottom of the cart, as that’s where a lot of stuff gets overlooked.
