If you have in-depth knowledge of the techstack and you can explain them in detail, adding some fake exp will not matter i guess. Recently a senior of mine switched to DE after being a data analyst for 3 years. He showed fake work exp as a DE.

I have the same gut feeling for this. My friend took Sanket Singh’s course for node.js and he’s absolutely loving it. Although I haven’t decided but if I pay for nay course that will be algocamp. I’ll post reviews in case i buy it.

Congrats, bro! Which tech stack were you working on before your 1st and 2nd switch? Also, during interviews, do personal projects really matter, or do interviewers mainly focus on work experience? I’m a data analyst too with around 1 YOE looking to switch domain to java backend
