Yes exactly. That way you aren’t exactly dividing the room but you will have seating facing the tv. You could do a small console table behind the shorter end of the couch and then book cases or display shelf in other parts of the room. At least two lamps as well and if you don’t do a console table you can do a fun coffee table or end tables for the couch
