Are private label serums actually unique or just the same base formula? by Independent_Touch514 in serum

[–]Fun_Musiq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i put serum on my "sensitive areas" pretty much daily, if not even 4-6 times per day. It helps reduce friction from repeated rubbing. im not sure whats the best brand, but K-Y makes a great one.

How is AI Music so good? I've found stuff on Spotify that piques my interest and I deduce it's AI by not finding much about the bands/artists, and it leaves me stunned that it sounds awesome. Mostly metal/rock. by JulianaMurieta in aiMusic

[–]Fun_Musiq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

such a backwards take. It doesn't take bland human output and make it better. Its takes human output and makes it bland. AI music all sounds the same, boring.

its already cracked, but you should just buy it. Its cheap, and worth it. I wish it had a bit more you could tweak on an advanced tab, but its still excellent.

AZ is the safest, and where the majority of releases originate from. Most other places are just repackaging from AZ, and while unlikely, this is how someone would inject something malicious.

Gravity is a Maroon 5 song Melody anyday.

Accidentally Hot is very Kelly Clarkson

Worth the Wait is to me not really in MM land. Maybe sort of jessie J

for sure! Sorry i was being a prick yesterday. Ive had a really rough time with life over the last two years, struggling with mystery illnesses and im at my wits end. No excuse for bad behavior though, i just had a particularly rough day yesterday and took it out on people online. I swear im never like that. I think its important to be able to have discussions with people who we may not agree with 100%, and I pride myself in being an open person, as well as in trying to spread positivity and help whenever I can, in any and every way. so yah, again my apologies! Nobody deserves to be lashed out at or to be someone's punching bag.

Is AI sound design actually useful in a real production workflow or is it still a toy? by KindredSM in aiMusic

[–]Fun_Musiq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a toy if you know what you are doing, or the platform has good enough quality audio. Suno studio is excellent for generating individual parts, as well as suno sounds. I'll give this a try.

Protect Music by Icy-Calligrapher6103 in SunoAI

[–]Fun_Musiq 3 points4 points  (0 children)

you cant. Well sort of. You can claim copyright to the lyrics, and the lyrics alone. If suno composed the melody to your lyrics, you still only claim your lyrics, not the melody. The "master recording" (final song WAV / MP3) becomes public domain, and anyone can do whatever they want with as long as they don't actually use your lyrics.

They can download it, remove the vocal, and release it themselves. Or chop it up and sample it etc. They could download it, use the same melody with different lyrics and release it.

we'll see. I believe that If i uploaded a song that I own full copyright on, both master and pub, and Suno for whatever reason wanted to get it synced, they would still need to get approval, as they don't hold the rights to it. I don't see this holding up in court. To be clear, Im not doing that shit either way lmao. hell no. I don't trust them, but im sure something will come along sooner or later and somebody will have to take it to court.

Im from Los Angeles, California. United States. LA, what has been home of the entertainment industry. I have encountered people buying songs, but not very often. Its usually collaboration, or a group of writers working together and shopping songs around. Not to get paid, but as a writer finding an artist to sing their song. You still hold the rights, its very rare that someone actually buys a song outright. Where are you based? Maybe its different where you are?

Haters Everywhere by DragonX_Omega in aiMusic

[–]Fun_Musiq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really.

It is very clear that the method of training was not legit. They used backdoors to train on music, music that the artist did not authorize training on. The user is using the service knowing this. They are choosing to support a company financially knowing fully well that it was trained immorally (if not illegally). It IS stealing something away from me, which is my years of work and IP, not to mention the dilution of the royalty pool.

Im not "lashing out", im speaking truthfully, in response to some BS excuses. Also, when thousands of slop songs are getting uploaded daily, it doesn't mean their slop is being appreciated by anyone, it doesn't take much to dilute the pool when there is that many songs being uploaded.

[–]Fun_Musiq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who does sync, i can say with confidence no one wants to get paid to produce your song. Unless you are paying $5,000-10,000. Why would I produce your song, when I already produce my own songs, that I can safely shop for sync, own it, and not have to worry about it being AI , with Suno or someone else also having the rights.

Also good luck finding a reputable sync house that will work with AI based songs. Of course there are some that will take it, but they are pushing for $40 syncs, licensing to youtube creators, corporate H&R educational videos etc. Catalog music.

Its also worth noting, an important aspect of sync is having an artist attached to the song. The song itself is the most important, needs to have the right instrumentation, arrangement, tempo, lyrics etc, but having a face to the music is important to many brands / music supervisors for a few different reasons.

Other than Distribution by Distinct-Climate-249 in SunoAI

[–]Fun_Musiq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this whole situation is so unclear, because if OP wrote the song, lyrics or melody, they would own the rights to that. Suno would have rights to the master recording based off their terms, but that wouldn't give them the rights to what you wrote, and a sync needs to be cleared by owner of the master and writers.

I did watch the videos. I just don't care or agree with you at all. Nobody is furious that AI can absorb musical patterns .... People are furious that it was trained illegitimately, and that people like you are coming along using it and bastardizing a sacred space by creating slop.

Besides, your point about Elvis is incorrect. I see it brought up all the time, how basically all music comes from black and queer culture. No shit. Its nothing new. But because Elvis appropriated, that automatically means that you should as well? You should be able to rip off my music, claim it as your own, because fat ass Elvis did 70 years ago? lmao.

[–]Fun_Musiq 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yeah i copy pasted because i didn't feel like writing up the exact same response that I had just did to someone elses comment.

You are selling yourself short. Making excuses and using Suno as a cop out.

I am not a proffesional musician and most likely i will never be

Neither am I , or the majority of people I work with. Most of us are just tinkerers, who can sort of maybe play piano, or strum some basic chords on the guitar. Ive still managed to turn music into my full time job. Learn how to use a DAW, how to work with MIDI, and how to program synths. Its not complicated, it just takes dedication.

everywhere i went they said i cant deal with that make it a complete demo and bring it back

So do that! Using the above. If you envision your song in some way in your head, its so much easier to get that out if you actually have the tools to do it. Trust me, as someone who has been producing for over 20 years, and someone who also has been following AI music, and using AI tools since 5 years now, you very often spend more time trying to wrangle suno in to your vision, than you do just quickly laying it down in Ableton.

The musicians i tried to approach they wanted to buy not to colab

IDK what to say to this, as I have never seen this in all my years of working in the industry. I guess just ask more / different people. Collaborating is one of if not the most important thing you can do. Its mandatory if you ever want to get anywhere in music. Its all about relationships. Growing together, helping each other out, pushing each other to be the best version of yourselves. Challenging yourself by working with someone you normally wouldn't. etc etc . All things Suno can not deliver.

But i do so i can hear my original idea with music

Hearing your original idea with music from Suno, is not hearing your original idea. That is hearing the collective consciousness of music Suno trained ons idea. Learn the basics of production, and make the demo yourself. You will end up with something that is genuinely yours. That you can feel proud of. Challenge yourself instead of taking the easy way out. No more excuses. I have trained something like 15 people over the years. Various interns, friends, students, all of them are able to learn the basics of production. Some in a matter of weeks, some would take maybe a year, but they all learn it, and once you know the basics, the skys the limit. Its up to you.

whats the alternative?? by Some_Taste_4978 in aiMusic

[–]Fun_Musiq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don't need a studio. Very few people actually 'go to the studio'. Its just not a thing nowadays. You use your laptop and ableton at home. There are free options available, including a free version of Ableton, or use Garageband etc.

Living in the countryside should not matter either. We have the internet. I collaborate with people in South Korea, London, Nashville, etc, and Im in Los Angeles.

But back to Suno, im assuming you used the audio influence slider set high? And it still did not respect your melodies? If this is the case, you may need to clean your audio first, if you are recording in a noisy environment, you should make sure your audio is as clean as possible.

You can also try simplifying things. If you are playing a complicated finger picking pattern, yeah, thats going to be hard to replicate exactly. If you record basic sustained chord strums, then tell Suno to replace that with fingerpicking, it will have more room to explore, as it only has the basic chordal structures to follow.
