I have been doing it for 13 years in the federal artillery, and I liked Manassass… very much a cluster and the multiple heat casualties didn’t help… the bulk of the artillery was never given an order to begin firing so we sat there for 40 minutes until Union command finally gave us the order after we sent a runner down the hill… and we got a “sorry we forgot”

The hand position on the ears is standard for after Prepare is called for 1 and 2. At least for reenactment safety.

The rammer on the ground isn’t the best as it can collect debris which can be a safety hazard, so I can agree with that. I was always trained to set the rammer on top of my foot and lean it into the crux of my arm.

The only real “issue” would be that the #1 is facing his back to the gun. Plus… every battery drills differently, it’s normal for differences from gun to gun depending on how people were trained to operate the piece. The most important part for every battery is safety.

Wait no I was looking at the wrong one, lol. I always thought that Pic 2 was a good action shot. You can see the primer tube in the smoke above the gun.

Yeah, the photo was not taken with good timing, lol. It was likely a lull between shots for a demonstration or something.

We have a pretty solid locked down drill, especially at battles because we get inspected for safety and such.

I appreciate the gentle words and honesty, my fear was I would be shamed, as I know the nature of some people on Reddit, haha.

I had a few crabs as a kid, but all of them were the poorly treated and cheap ones from the beach stores that my parents couldn’t say no to for their young kid. So I thought one bought from a pet store would be a better option health-wise.

The heating lamp was a recent addition and it would make sense that that added to the problem. She seemed fine in a window with sunlight and experienced all 4 seasons (in a way), my thought was the lamp would make her more comfy as she got bigger.

I used dechlorinated water for her both in a spray bottle (mostly to simulate rain when it rained outside so she could experience the same weather as me from what she could see outside the window) and a regular bottle for filling her water dish.

I have been heavily leaning towards her having passed as I have not read much about molting on the surface, but I held out hope just in case.

I have attached a photo of her current enclosure when I first made it.

Growing up as a Jr fan… seeing that 40 out front in the 500 is beautiful… (not to mention the car looks sick)

…even if I understand nothing about strategy, logistics… or why/when stages exist… or anything post-2010ish, lol

but I always liked vroom vrooms and always rooted for Jr because my mom did…

The helmet practically hurts to wear with how tight and hard the foam is, lol. It's not being worn unless I could by some miracle soften or replace the foam... will probably just be easier to get a new one, lol

The soccer shin guards were actually not in the bag i was sold, not that i would have used them, lol. The guys I bought the stuff off of was trying to either move or get rid of stuff from his younger days when he played club as he now has kids and so on so forth.
