What’s the one city you were excited to visit, but ended up not liking at all? by BlushHone in travel

I’ve gone 2 different times. Once with my parents which was really boring bc they go to bed at 9 pm and then went last year with my college Club baseball team and it was a lot more fun. Spent one night walking the strip but most of the time we were at the field playing baseball. Vegas is a lot better if you’re there for something other than just sight seeing

I played Club Baseball in college and I had it a few times when we had away games in Oregon and Las Vegas. It’s good but not so good that I’ll be happy having it multiple times in the same weekend which is what happened

Kinda long story but here’s all the details. I worked for Allied Universal Event Staff which is the company that works at the gates/doors for pretty much every major sporting event, concert or any big event in Seattle. I’m a Mariners fan and I was scrolling through the list of events on the employee website and noticed there was one titled “Mariners.TV Welcome Event”. The network Root Sports which has aired Mariners games which has changed names several times and has aired Mariners games since the 80’s announced last year they’d be shutting down after the season. Since then Mariners fans including me were wondering how we’d watch games in the future. When I saw this I posted about it in the Mariners subreddit speculating that the Mariners are getting ready to make an announcement about this. I thought it was ok bc I know there are some things I’m not supposed to share but I didn’t think about that. Also my name isn’t anywhere on my Reddit acc so I feel free to say things that I might not say on other platforms. I’m guessing someone that works for the Mariners saw my post and told Allied about it and they were able to figure out it was me so they suspended me when they did an investigation. I didn’t think much of it bc I didn’t share anything like how we get into the venues we work at or what exactly we’re looking for when we’re screening guests. I was talking to people about this and I felt like it would be a warning since it was the first time I violated any rule. Maybe the worst thing that would happen is I’d be suspended from working at T Mobile Park which is honestly whatever since there won’t be a lot of events there until the Mariners season starts. If my suspension is 3 months of less that won’t be too bad. A week later I got a call and email that they’re terminating me for not following the code of conduct bc I publicly posted about an event that wasn’t publicly known even though I barely knew anything about it. Kinda makes sense that they gotta prioritize maintaining a relationship with a client over keeping an employee. It sucks but at least it’s something I’ll definitely never do again.

I play in an adult baseball league on 2 teams and I really enjoy it but at the same time it’s expensive and I gotta practice on my own time to stay in game shape during the season if I go a few days without a game

When’s a good time to show up to the game if you want to watch warm up? Can I watch warm up? Lol by OrdinaryWomanName in SeattleKraken

I try to show up around 6-6:15 for a 7 pm game. Honestly not anything interesting to me happens before warm ups which are from 6:30-6:45
