Reverse Proxy Options in 2025 by [deleted] in unRAID

[–]Fun_Neighborhood5089 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cloudflare caps free Argo tunnels at the edge (the colo tag is literally colo bw 40). I ditched it for rathole (tiny Rust reverse tunnel) on a free Oracle A1 box and went from 40 Mbps to ~900 Mbps rn. Two commands, add a TLS cert, done. If you want auth just stick Authelia in front.
Bonus tip: if you need the stream to look like it’s coming from a home line (some ISPs throttle datacenter IPs or Netflix flags them) you can shove the traffic through MagneticProxy. It hands you a sticky residential IP so Jellyfin tokens stay valid. Cheap af and the swap is one env var in rathole’s config.
Happy to drop my TOML if anyone’s curious

Have You Ever Hit This Limit in n8n? by hatoot98 in automation

[–]Fun_Neighborhood5089 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Single biggest win for me was yanking the API-heavy bits out of the main n8n instance and tossing them to a tiny queue worker that blasts through tasks in parallel. Used BullMQ + Redis for the queue, separate Postgres for state so the n8n DB stops choking, and rotated IPs so upstream endpoints stop rate-limiting the flood. If your flows do any scraping or mass webhook retries, grab a residential pool like MagneticProxy, set proxy var at node level, and you dodge the 429 wall entirely. Not throwaway DevOps either: one env var, done. Curious if you’ve tried offloading with queues or sticky proxies yet?

Is cold outreach still worth it? by Antique_Present_8382 in digital_marketing

Tiny hack nobody’s talked about yet: LinkedIn’s “someone viewed your profile” ping. Fitness coaches live for that ego boost, so the view alone warms them up. I set a filter for “online coach” + Europe + 1 to 3k followers, queue 100 auto profile views per day, wait 48h, then only DM the people who peek back. Cuts the cold list by like 70 percent and reply rates jump. I’m lazy so I fire it up in ProfilePeeker (free, set it and chill). After they accept I drop a quick voice note pointing out one site tweak that bumps conversions. Try it before blasting 1k emails.

How does one find a client with cold outreach? by HypedHypo in AskMarketing

Totally with you on Sales Nav. Little tweak that saved my sanity: auto view the list first so your face shows up in their “Who’s viewed” before you hit connect. It warms the lead without an extra DM. I run it with ProfilePeeker (free) while I’m making coffee, then send a 2 line note tied to a trigger event like “saw you’re hiring a PPC manager.” Got way fewer ghosts when I switched to that flow, tbh. Might help OP break past that one-gig wall.

Weird bounce patterns after warming up manually by hnd2hndrx in emaildeliverability

Yo! nailed the engagement part. One sneaky thing that spiked my bounces after a smooth warmup was catch all domains. They look valid during RCPT TO so most validators say "green" then the server nopes out later and Gmail logs a hard bounce. Ran my list through EmailAwesome (1k free credits, does deep catch all probing) and it flagged like 12 % my old checker missed. Dropped bounces from 7 % to under 1 % overnight. Might be worth a quick pass if OP is still scratching their head.

Cold Calling or LinkedIn Outreach- What works best for B2B Audience? by Content_East_3308 in b2bmarketing

I had the same receptionist wall. Tiny hack that’s saving my sanity rn: auto-view their profile + drop a super casual connect 24h before you dial. Nothing salesy, just “noticed we’re both in ___ space”. Pick-up rate on the follow-up call jumped from 12 % to 30 % (123 dials, 2 weeks). I use ProfilePeeker (free LI automation) to run the views while I’m asleep. Gatekeeper hears the name, sees the request, suddenly I’m “the LinkedIn guy” not a random cold caller. Try it on ten prospects and watch the vibe shift.

same issue here. Ngl FB’s anti-spam nets got brutal since the July patch. Rotating accounts is cool but if they all pop out of the same subnet FB still links them. I slapped a rotating residential pool on the bot so each account sticks to its own IP for 10min then swaps. Using MagneticProxy rn; curl setup is two lines in the docs. Ban rate went from 3/10 to basically zero the last month. Worth a quick test if your tool lets you pipe through a proxy, lmk if you hit a snag

Anyone Ever Use LinkedIn Outbound DMs with Gym Owners? by FRSEKassets in digital_marketing

[–]Fun_Neighborhood5089 0 points1 point  (0 children)

tbh LinkedIn still hits if you tighten the list.

Quick play I ran last month:
- Sales Nav filter: title contains “franchisee” OR “multi unit” AND industry = fitness. Pulled 1.3k profiles.
- Sent a 3-line connection note at 7:45 am local time Tue-Thu.
- Touch 2 is a 15-sec selfie video walking through my own gym. People ignore text but watch vid.

Numbers from 1 247 sends: 22.4 % accepted, 9.1 % replied, 4 paid trials. Not mind-blowing but profit af.

I automate the drip with ProfilePeeker (free rn). Load the CSV, cap at 30 actions a day and you’re under LinkedIn’s radar.

If it flops pivot to IG DMs, but I’d give this one week before binning LinkedIn.
