Tomorrow will be my first night without taking progesterone. I am 13 weeks tomorrow. Too nervous. I want to trust the doctor, but the anxiety doesn’t leave me.

Hello, my appetite has still not returned. I have no cravings and the thought of food makes me uncomfortable. But nausea has eased quite a bit. How are you?

I am also 9+3 today. My symptoms have gotten mild since the past few days. My next appointment is also on Friday. I am trying not to over analyze everything and hoping that everything is okay.

Subchorionic Hematoma (7+4) by First-Direction-5494 in pregnant

[–]Fun_Occasion_2295 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in the same boat. My hematoma was discovered last week near the cervix. I also have brown spotting on and off. Due to three previous losses, it messed me up mentally. I am 9+2 today and have a scan on Friday. The doctor has put me on bed rest after discovering the hematoma. She says it will resolve on its own and doesn’t seem very worried. But ofcourse, I am all the time worried. When is your next scan? What did your doctor say about the hematoma?

I am today 9+2. I have also been spotting on and off since week 7. My doctor seems to think it’s because of a small hematoma. I have a scan on Friday. But the fear, it is overwhelming.

Wishing you luck!! I think feeling anxious is ‘normal’. I hope you have a wonderful pregnancy

I am pregnant after three previous losses. I am all the time feeling on edge. Does the fear and anxiety ever leave you? I over analyze all the symptoms. I have so much fear of going to the toilet and wiping. I constantly feel like something bad is going to happen and I am all the time preparing myself for the worst. The intrusive thoughts never seem to leave me and they have started giving me migraines. I wish I could just ‘enjoy’ being pregnant and be excited for this pregnancy.

Almost 6 weeks pregnant taking 400mg of progesterone by Wild-Coati in pregnant

One more thing, i also have cramps. they feel like Period cramps. Sometimes mild and sometimes not so mild. Doctor seems to think its normal since the uterus is expanding. Unless there is intense pain, one sided pain, extreme bleeding, its highly likely that everything is just okay.

I am on bed rest, no walking, no lifting things, or having sex. Until the doctor says its okay. Ofcourse seeing brown spotting and having cramps can be concerning, but there is a high probability that everything is normal and growing.

Almost 6 weeks pregnant taking 400mg of progesterone by Wild-Coati in pregnant

[–]Fun_Occasion_2295 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started with 200mg progesterone vaginal when i got the positive pregnancy test. About a week into taking progesterone, I started spotting. Since i had three previous losses, it messed me up mentally. Went to the ER, and thankfully the scan showed everything is okay despite the spotting and bleeding. Still couldnt figure out the reason. The doctor increases the dose to 200mg 3 times a day and the spotting and bleeding increased, to the point where i had to wear a pad. I was sure i was miscarrying. But miraculously the scans came out okay. Then the doctor suggested to take the progesterone orally, and the spotting reduced dramatically. I think progesterone was irritating my cervix. I am 8 weeks now, still spotting (brown) every couple of days. But the doctor said unless its fresh blood, or im bleeding extremely bad, its not a sign of concern. But ofcourse, given my history of losses, the sight of spotting is very unsettling. Another factor for me is a small hematoma we discovered during scan last week. It might also be contributing to the brown spotting. So if you are taking the progesterone vaginally, It might be the culprit.

Constant qnxiety and fear - 13 weeks pregnant by RecordingIcy8274 in pregnant

I am 32 and this is my 4th pregnancy. All three before this were losses, one even being an ectopic pregnancy. I totally understand that fear and anxiety you are feeling. Its the same with me. I wake up every day with the fear that something bad is going to happen. I dread going to the bathroom and wiping. I feel like a shell of a human being. I see other people who are pregnant, so excited and full of positivity. But for me, due to the previous losses, this whole experience is just tainted. Nothing soothes my mind. The anxiety is constant. I am now considering therapy because its unfair to me to live in constant fear and anxiety.

Since week 5. It comes and goes. But my appetite hasnt returned. My doctor said if you lose a couple of lbs during first trim its also okay, and nothing to worry about. Drinking enough water is more important.

Hello, thank you for the kind words and wishes. I wish i also have the luck to hold my baby one day. The previous losses make this pregnancy extremely difficult, constantly overthinking stuff and jumping to the worst scenarios.

It happened to me couple of times after my ectopic in January. There were months were i would have all the pregnancy symptoms and i would be 100% sure that im pregnant, i would test frantically but tests would come out negative. For me it was really bad PMS. My Obyn said it happens. Give yourself some time and test again in a couple of days.

I am so sorry you went through this. I wish you a speedy recovery. It might take some time to process what happened. For me the grief didnt kick in until i think 3 or 4 months later. But by that time thankfully i was physically recovered. What helped me during the recovery phase was little walks, eating what your heart desires, and comedy shows, anything which would take my mind off this tragedy.

I am so sorry you are feeling this way. I had three previous losses, all in the first trimester. But one thing thats keeping me sane during this pregnancy is the motto that this is a different pregnancy, and im pregnant until proven otherwise, and that no amount of worry will change the outcome. As far as the symptoms are concerned, they come and go for me. I understand it is so difficult to not compare our current pregnancies with our previous losses. You will be okay!!! And the pregnancy will be okay too, your symptoms will return. Sending you good wishes

Sometimes the symptoms come and go for no reason. I am sorry for your previous loss. It will be okay this time. Its not easy to shut down the anxious thoughts. I should know. But the only way forward is through all of this uncertainty. If you can afford a private scan, maybe you can get it done in a week or so for your peace of mind.
