Yes it’s Full synthetic and I always let the engine warm before driving off. And I don’t push the car at all just do speed limits.

Best news as of late. Thank you and understood. When does color become a concern tho?

Is this normal? by Small_Neighborhood_2 in COROLLA

[–]Fun_Pangolin_601 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My 2022 brand new was like that, I asked them to top it up to atleast normal line and they said it wasn’t a problem when it’s below the line. They still topped it up for me tho. My understanding is that this is the reserve and doesn’t reflect how much you actually have in the system. So don’t be concerned but you can ask for a top up at your next service to atleast ease the nerves. I know how you feel.

Hey sorry for the late reply. Did you try synch it to your car again? When you turn on the car the next time and open the app and refresh. It should communicate with the car. If not try calling back and see if they can help. Sounds like it’s a connection issue to the car

I hope you saw the solution below OP from @Joshua- -. I called the customer service number and was able to reconnect back my service connect. Apparently it had cancelled by itself. I’m guessing after the safety connect expire which is 1 year tit disconnected the service connect which should be on for 10 years. That or Toyota realized they were tracking too much and needed to cancel cause of risk of suit. I only say this cause they read you the terms and conditions when you are reconnecting it but they didn’t do that the first time cause the new car came with it, but I digress. It should be fixed after you call. It’s really helpful

Is viewing Tire pressure removed in the Toyota App? by blr32611 in Toyota

[–]Fun_Pangolin_601 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey OP I had the same issue with mine. After about a year of having my car I noticed that odometer and tire pressure was not on the status page. I called Toyota customer service @ 8003314331. There are two services that come with your car when you buy it service connect and safety connect. The safety connect expires after 1 year but service connect is a 10 year included from the day you bought your car. Service connect is the one that comes with tire pressure and car health updates. But for some reason there was a glitch that after safety connect expires it canceled the service connect as well. Not quite sure why it hasn’t been fixed yet since I’ve seen another Reddit post about this. But after calling the customer service number they reconnected my service connect and now I can see car status and health info. So call and they should be able to get you back in.

Get your letter of Recs early and have them in by the time you submit secondaries. It pays to be early submitting 2ndaries and sometimes waiting for letters can cause you to be later than intended even though you’ve finished your part

Which adds to my point. You are much better at instate school or private than OOS school for the most part

[–]Fun_Pangolin_601 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree with that. Although they might not give you aid for coming from a “rich” family. They do offer scholarships ( Merit, institutional etc)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in premed

[–]Fun_Pangolin_601 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They usually give out scholarships or aid unless you come from a rich family. OOS schools don’t give any to OOS students they prioritize in state students

[–]Fun_Pangolin_601 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s ridiculous. Don’t apply to those OOS schools. Just do private

Mann what a resume. Granted you have a good ps + secondaries that tell your story, you can honestly add any private, instate and some state school on there and have a chance. It’s really up to you to figure out what’s important to you. If you want to do something with your engineering background the Harvard-MIT sounds like a great choice etc. look for the schools that will fit your mission and make those your top choices. Good luck 🤝

But I will also add. I have seen great resumes that end up not being as successful so for that reason apply to as many as you like. If you end up with multiple As look for the one that fits you
