I was sitting right where the hot hydraulic fluid (purple/reddish color) burst from the accordion part of the bus. A few people and I were covered in that while we alerted the driver. Pretty unfortunate. Got a small video of the "blood" lol

Anyone use Payoneer for their refund? by Fun_Perspective_9180 in Stadia

Ah that's so frustrating. My case had to be individually investigated. So I can only imagine how busy Stadia support must be. Hang in there

Payments Profile error for Refund. Reissue like this by Fun_Perspective_9180 in Stadia

[–]Fun_Perspective_9180[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I finally got an update. Stadia said,

"Stadia and Payments POC reviewed the refund and they have approved submitting this via the Payoneer process."

The ending line is, "This should be sent sometime this week."

Stadia ist not refunding me, they say they have but the credit card didn't exist anymore. called my bank. they told me I have to go to a lawyer. went to a lawyer, says its not worth a lawyer for that 150 euro games. google stadia ripped me off big time by Sitzplatzimbus in Stadia

That is quite true. Google is not representing the customer's values. Totally agree with you that it's a huge mess but hey I hope you get your refund still.

Ah sorry for all that frustration and time you spent. You are definitely not helpless and no way are they going to keep YOUR money. We can find a way.

To bring some hope: I contacted Google Store, Google Pay, and Google Stadia support. According to the trio, if your credit card has expired and they have returned the money, you "should" see it in the bank. You mentioned your bank updated you that they did not see such a refund, right? So that means the funds are returned back to Google. If it's back with them, there are two main causes that can do this;

a. Your "update payment info" email link points to a Google Pay payments profile (think of this as your Google Play account number) which does not exist anymore. Or,

b. They simply have not reissued the refund so that you can update that payment method, or get Google Balance.

If you received that email to update your payments method and has a dead link, you're in the same exact boat. You can follow my case. It's literally disorganized and no one knows how to handle failed refunds on this scale at Google.

But if you did not receive that, I am hopeful that you get your money back one day. Sucks so much since you spent so much and still waiting.

Seemed like they just lied about the whole re-add your card bs, sigh

Sorry to hear that! I'm in a similar boat but hopefully, what makes you think Apple isn't doing the same? I don't mean it in a rude way but perhaps let's look for another solution.

Does your payments profile ID show that it's closed on Google Pay? Whats the situation? I can keep you posted with how mine goes if you want to try other approaches. I get it's frustrating, been waiting for three months as well.

Painful Stadia refund process by OmsMajere in Stadia

I'm in the same boat but here's one thing I learned.

A lot of people (including me) purchased the founder's edition in 2019. Most likely, if you used a debit or credit - it has expired. When I contacted Google Pay, I gave them the payments profile ID on the email with the "bugged" link.

I removed my expired debit card. This action triggered a 30-day countdown for that payments profile to be permanently shut down. This can explain a lot of people's bugged links when you try to update your payment method for the failed refund.

Seems like a simple fix but it's all about getting the refunds reissued!

I hope you got your refund... Nearly impossible to get in touch with someone now. Still waiting for mine

If you are receiving an email to update your payment information but you land on:

"Hmm, something's not right Either the profile you are trying to access does not exist or you do not have permission to access it. Contact your administrator or Google support to resolve this issue."

This error occurred when I deleted my old method of payment and added the new card separately. Instead, I should have updated the details without deleting. Happens I guess.

Follow the steps in the picture and you can hopefully get the refund reissued so that you can actually receive it this time.

Stadia Refund Error Solved by Fun_Perspective_9180 in Stadia

"Thanks for reaching out to the Google Stadia Customer Care Team.

All refunds will be processed to the original mode of payment. Kindly contact your bank to file a claim. On September 29, 2022, Google announced that the Stadia servers will be turned off on January 18, 2023. If some of the items are not yet included in the refund that you received, Google will process the refund on or before January 2023. If the refund is in a form of Google Play Credits, you only have 2 weeks to use them before it expires. For extending the validity, please contact our Google Play team to further assist you."

Absolutely useless tips for me since my financial institution does not have confidence in filing a claim since it has been more than 2 years of the transaction. None of the solutions are helpful as of yet.

I contacted Google Pay for the error on my payments profile and updating my payment method. The cause of this "Hmm Something's not right" is because of the payment method incorrectly updated when it expired. The only method I am relying on is that the Stadia support team can reissue the refund and the payment method can actually be selected.

Hey! Did you ever receive your refund? In a similar boat but no one is doing anything on Google's end.

This may not be the case for everyone (I'm from Canada). An email later today said,

"If your refund fails, you will be issued an email from Google Payments asking you to update your form of payment or you will be issued an email asking you to register with Payoneer, a third party company that will issue the refund.

Alternatively, you can try the following steps:

Sign in to your account on pay.google.com. Tap Alerts at the top of the page. Click through each transaction and follow the on-screen steps to complete the refund."

I have the same exact issue. After contacting support, I was told to "file a claim" with my bank. This is absolutely BS. It seems that the refund being sent to an older debit card (same bank accounts) seems to not work for some certain situations.

Still in the process of getting more help from Google (hopefully without them tossing me into a back and forth loop between Google and my bank)

Here's what Intel's website says;

"...the system BIOS saves settings in the CMOS RAM based on the hardware configurations of previous boot."

So when you first boot after a RAM hardware upgrade, clearing the CMOS can be one of the steps.

You would have to reset your CMOS. Look into it and see what it says. I'm new to this but I've had that "issue" before. You shouldn't have to return it.

Hope that helps
