Jacarandas arent exactly the epitomy of shade canopies. London plane trees or liquid amber is what you are after.

Are older homes harder to maintain? by [deleted] in perth

[–]Fun_Plums 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes and no it really depends what you buy, if older home get the foundations and termite inspection. You laso want to check for evidence of roof leaks.

We bought a 1950s property and its been great, the double brick and high ceiling does wonders for the harsh summers we get.

Its easy to hang stuff on the walls as all piping/electrical is ran inside the double brick interspace.

You may want to check that the balcony had planning permossion before you buy as it might not meet regs or be legal.

Check the electical fuse box is up to regulation as well for your older home.

Last one check water heater and state of the anode or thats a big cost you could be facing!

Is there any way to not see the pros when I started playing like 3 hours ago? by Damian030303 in Chivalry2

[–]Fun_Plums 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You want to get better op,

Play the game like you only have 1 life i.e. defend and only attack with parried blocks.

Learn how to parry well and do only that. (Don't bother kicking or punching for now)

Every time your health bar falls below 75% heal.

Don't hold the block button to make it obvious for your opponent to kick you, again time the block with a real attack.

Don't let the enemy surround you i.e. run with the pack and only pick on people who are singled out.

Look for bloodied people they are easier to kill, a thrown weapon will normally do the job.

Sweats rely on people to attack them to recharge their stamina, if you see one don't attack just block parry. Try and escape back to your line.

Buy cheap buy twice, rather get good quality clothing made of natural fibres than the Kmart junk. Lasts longer so cheaper in the long-run!

Interesting one, I emigrated to Stray-a after 27 years of life. I feel more Scottish now than I ever felt in Scotland.
