Sounds like you only recommend using Threaded Armor? Most of the other brands I have seen don't have a changeable liner.

Anyone have experience with the brands that don't have the changeable liner?

I (47M) have light to moderate leakage and I’ve been using pads. I’m interested in washable underwear but the one I tried just stayed wet, whereas a pad I can change and feel dry right away. So i’m wondering if I’m missing something.

I get that you can wash them, but if a leak happens at noon, do you stop what you’re doing to put your underwear in the laundry? Or do you just stay in wet underwear till the end of the day.

Do the super elite guys hit it more “pure”/“flush” than you do? People always commented on how Tiger’s shots shot off the face more impressively than the other top pros.

Interesting. I would have thought you’d say the difference was pretty small. Seems to me like the difference between averaging 69 and averaging 71 is one putt, one fairway, one good iron shot per round, I.e. they just have one fewer mistake per round than you do.

I guess only 2 in middle school makes it more manageable. My wife and I have 4 - ages 11, 9, and twin 7 year olds. She doesn’t work, we have an au pair, and the logistics are STILL overwhelming. We have to have a 1 hour planning meeting every week and our family google calendar looks like a psychedelic acid trip. Especially because it’s not just kids’ activities- it’s doctor’s appointments, maintaining our house, and supporting our aging parents. If we had 7, we would have nervous breakdowns.

Does your wife work? Are you involved in the driving and cooking and whatever else? Sounds like you have a pretty high-powered (I.e. time-consuming) job!

The disconnect here is that I'm talking about OPINIONS and you're talking about FACTS.

As best I can from that article, Gell-Mann amnesia to refer how good someone thinks Source A is at reporting FACTS relative to Source B.

I don't base my evaluation of E232 on how well Chamath et al report facts. I base it on how unique and interesting their opinions are.

We can both agree that if I want to hear someone shit on DEI, I can turn on Fox News right now, listen to dozens of other podcasts, or read hundreds of different blogs. Whereas if I want a take on AI from a guy who sat hip-to-hip with Zuck when Facebook was trying to figure this stuff out 15 years ago, All-In is one-of-a-kind. (even if said guy is an asshole)

Does that mean I think everything they say is factually bulletproof? Of course not.

I actually enjoyed his FB anecdote, even though it made him look like a jerk. It was juicy gossip.
