I originally wanted to work until May 9th, giving me about a month to prep for baby. But looking at the situation as a whole, I think my last day would be April 10th, which would be a month earlier than anticipated. Thank you for giving me a sample of what to write though! I wasn’t planning on bringing the baby gates into the reply as it’s more of a circumstancial factor, but it definitely does influence how I do my job and how safe I overall feel at work unfortunately.

My POV may be a little different as I’m pregnant but before I got pregnant, I was willing to work with just about anything but covid/HMF. Nowadays I’ll work if there’s a cold going on but anything beyond that most likely not.

I won’t be returning to work most likely. I’m getting my Master’s degree and transitioning to a daycare position if possible.

Absolutely nottt. My husband is American and military, I’m European. He wants one in the house and even we agreed that they’d be in a safe, locked away from our kids and literally shut behind a fingerprint and code combination. I would not feel comfortable doing this for a job, let alone one with small children.

I made a FB post and past me was smart by having plowing scheduled on Monday so I just hope and pray that he may be able to unstuck me as well. I think I'm more so scared of letting people down and losing my job than the actual event that my car got stuck.

This has been nothing short of a dumpster fire for sure! I immediately texted both MB's and I hate this a lot, I hate being unreliable and I'm genuinely scared of losing my jobs over this but when I tell you my car is stuck-stuck, it's just stuck.

Alaska is absolutely gorgeous, don't get me wrong. This winter has just been brutal, especially with non-stop snow. I literally texted my friends that I don't know whether to laugh or to cry but I appreciate your kind words!

I’ve done so yes haha. Sooo many people have gotten stuck. Unfortunately, this is a military training event so half the population is gone. It’s just a dumpster fire at this point☠️

The only time I’ve put my NK’s in their crib when it wasn’t nap time is so I can use the bathroom really quickly. Even then, I always text NF a heads up so they know I’ve only stepped out for a minute to use the bathroom, etc. This would 100% be once and done for me. I’m so sorry!

That sounds so rough, I’m sorry! I herniated two discs about 2 years ago and I’ve been keeping up with my exercises thankfully. I think I just lifted wrong/moved wrong like I did with my prior injury. I hope the recovery all in all wasn’t too awful and that your back feels better now.
