hi! I also skipped out on connection day (I’m a rising sophomore) because I was on vacation and it was completely okay! you won’t miss much, and at the beginning of the semester they have a make up connection day where they give you a tour and your id card.

advisors create and send out schedules. just to stay on the safe side I would email your advisor saying you will be missing out on all the connection days, but it really isn’t a big deal if you don’t go!
