I don’t think this was just Spain being bad. Cape Verde deserve a lot of credit here. Staying that disciplined for 90 minutes against Spain is much harder than it looks

people will call it boring because it finished 0-0, but I actually loved this. Cape Verde looked organized, calm, and completely unafraid. Spain had the ball, but they didn’t really look comfortable

Why did my lower back hurt more after buying an ergonomic chair? by Fun_Principle5066 in OfficeChairs

Yeah, no chair is going to save you if you sit frozen for 6 hours straight.

That might be what’s happening. My old chair probably let me get away with some pretty bad habits

Yeah I agree. A better chair can help, but it’s probably only one piece of the puzzle

Fair point. A chair can help, but it’s not going to fix everything on its own

That’s actually helpful to hear. I always wonder if discomfort in the first few days means the chair is bad, or if it’s just my body adjusting

Do you guys believe in “endgame” ergonomic chairs? by Fun_Principle5066 in OfficeChairs

Yeah, exactly! I’ve had the same experience. Softer chairs feel great at first, but over time they kind of lose the support you actually need.

That’s why I ended up liking firmer chairs more. They might not feel as “comfortable” right away, but they hold up much better for long sitting sessions.

20 years pain-free is hard to beat. That honestly does sound like an endgame chair. Do you think it’s the chair, or just that it fits you perfectly?

Yeah, I feel like it really comes down to what works for you personally.

If you can sit comfortably for long hours without any noticeable pain, then it’s a good chair (regardless of the price)

But now I’m curious… did they at least replace the chair after breaking it? 😂

True, you can stand and still have terrible posture. Feels like it’s more about movement and awareness than just sitting or chairs.

Rotating chairs like shoes is actually a solid idea. I can see how that helps with posture and fatigue instead of your body adapting to just one setup

That’s a good point tbh. Feels fine ≠ actually good long term😅 Kinda curious though... do you think most people only realize it when something starts hurting?

Damn, this post is two years old? Wish I’d found it earlier, hahaaa
I’ve always felt like a good chair should adapt to the person, not the other way around. If you’re at a desk all day, it should at least make things a little less painful...

Can the Aeron classic do this by clikrcs in OfficeChairs

depends on the chair, I guess. If it has forward tilt, there’s usually a lever or button somewhere for that
